PoliticsRe: Dapchi Schoolgirls Abduction: Staff, Parents, Locals Narrate Harrowing Ordeal by Teejayfamo:

After APC used Chibok girls propaganda to destabilize GEJ's Govt., God has blessed them with real school children's kidnap, they should rescue those children or thunder will fire all of them one after the other
embarassed Your comment is totally insensitive.
You have allowed political divides and unnecessary biases to steal your humanity.

God didn't bless you with a real kidnap of your child. If he did, you wouldn't be here. Your words make me feel ashamed of being human.

You're even waiting for three times? I don't even chat with people who use shorthand. Like I always tell such people, if I'm going to type the normal way for you, that gesture should be reciprocated. And for those who chat shorthand, such as; k, u, sumtin, e.t.c..
I hope the time they would've used to type correctly, made a change in their lives.
Ever had those kinda long messages that made it seem as if you had all the time in the world just because you had every word in full text? Most peeps see that as a turnoff as well. undecided + peeps shouldn't actually owe you anything for typing in the manner you feel is most comfortable. + The time saved from typing 'k' could be used to engage others in meaningful convos.
PhonesRe: Does The Use Of 'k' In Convos Really Signify Lack Of Interest? by Teejayfamo(op): 8:59pm On Nov 21, 2017
Some peeps actually overreact. I see no reason why someone I'm replying very fast and with a lotta text should complain specifically about my use of 'k' even when it is evident that I'm very interested in the convo. Is it that the person is too big to get a 'k' or what? undecided Case becomes worse when the person types 'tho' angry
PhonesDoes The Use Of 'k' In Convos Really Signify Lack Of Interest? by Teejayfamo(op): 8:36pm On Nov 21, 2017
I've actually got a friend making research to confirm if the use of 'k' in convos truly signifies lack of interest in the convo.
She strongly believes the use of 'k's is viewed as offensive irrespective of the gender of the user. I shared my views that the current trend of complaints on use of 'k' is from girls who feel that the precious attention they give should get a better than a 'k'(I sure know my views were biased grin wink cheesy). For me, I see no reason why a person that uses short forms like 'lol','btw','tho' should complain about the use of 'k' since it saves typing time (laziness factor) .
I'd love to know your thoughts on this.

EducationRe: FUTA To Launch Satellite, NigeriaEdusat-1, Into Space On Thursday, 1st June 2017 by Teejayfamo: 8:21am On May 31, 2017
Bad belle people won't rest. I am a Futarian privileged to have info about this program. The satellite was developed by a Futarian alongside students from other universities all over the world. Nigeria's input in this case is minimal as the student funded his preparation for the program. The university also has her quota to contribute towards the training program and launch. Note: the training program was subsidised by the Japanese government. FUTA owns the satellite and it will be launched on the said date. Nigeria is not solely funding any launch and I'm sure the Nigerian government has contributed almost nothing to this. This is the result of an academic partnership between universities across the world.

SECURITY OPERATIVES SHOOTING AT STUDENTS

“Who, then, shall come to save the defenseless? Will slayers of men continue to have a go at it?”

Nigeria lost her first student martyr on the 1st of February, 1971. A student of the premier university, Kunle Adepeju, was shot dead by men of the Nigerian Police Force invited to quell a protest for better welfare for students in the University of Ibadan. This story has repeated itself in different forms since then. Recent cases include the alleged killing of a FUTA student by men of the Nigerian Police Force sent to control a student protest in Igbara odo in April, 2017.

Shooting at students during protests continues till date as University of Calabar students seem to be the latest recipients of this harsh treatment by the same men that were supposed to be employed to protect their lives for protesting against alleged collection of some funds that belongs to them by a sitting commissioner. This isn’t unlike the shooting of a FUNAAB student by an officer during protests for tighter security around their hostels off campus in April, 2016. In fact, a peaceful protest, today, is an opportunity for a trigger-happy man to show the skills he has honed. Inquiries into these cases seem to yield no positive outcome as the same end can be guessed for unborn protest, peaceful or not. This makes hope for a brighter tomorrow dimmer as flowers to bloom tomorrow continue to be maimed one after the other.

It is in view of their undying zeal to shoot at defenseless students that I request that members of the lower and upper chambers of the National Assembly raise this pertinent issue in their gatherings to forestall future occurrences of loss of lives to this mayhem under the umbrella of riot/protest control. I believe safer methods for quelling protests should be adopted. I beg that trained antiriot officers be equipped with rubber bullets and not live rounds if they have to fire at unprotected students (civilians).

However, if my humble request seems absurd, then I must request again that rocket launchers be brought to such protests by security operatives as they will increase chances of hurting more students.
