Cristiano Ronaldo has becomes the highest earning athlete in the world after making £61million last year alone beating long-term leader Floyd Mayweather Jnr into first place. The retired boxer, who fought just once within the last 12 months, earned £30million.


Ronaldo struck a £38.5million-a-year salary with Spanish giants Real Madrid. Plus his endorsement deals with Nike, watchmaker Tag Heuer and nutrition supplements group Herbalife were worth £22million.



His football rival Lionel Messi is second on the list ranking in £56million within the last year.

A couple have shocked and also amused everyone with their choice of words for their souvenir stickers during their wedding.

The couple just got married recently and shared out wedding souvenirs. However what got people’s attention were the words inscribed on the stickers.

The words which were written in hausa, read “An yi aure Asiya da Tsalha, yan bakin ciki sai su mutu”
The words can be translated as “Asiya and Tsalha are now married. Haters can go and hug transformer” popular Journalist, Jaafar Jaafar shared the photo and the translation.
