forreelinc: oh i am so sorry my name is dimeji ebigie(08032773199) and i am a veterinary doctor. i don't mean to offend you i just want to inform you that your pup has the parvo virus and from what i see in those pictures, is exhibiting early signs. You probably cannot save nor sell the pup at this point so your best course of action will be to seperate the pup from the rest of the kernel, i hope you have not been keeping them together? Parvo is a very serious disease Hmmmmm. Judging a pup from the picture and just concluded it has parvo virus without even seeing the said pup and yet you call yourself a vertinary doctor. Point of correction, there is nothing like vertinary in the dogs dictionary instead vertinarian. And also that is no way to behave on someone's thread. Thank you |

aywhy93: Seriously. He's very huge, the biggest I've seen Bro. His name is VEGAS... Despite the fact that Pictures don't do justice to huge dogs, you'll still see the justification in the pictures. I had to terminate the mating contract with the stud I wanted to use before immediately I saw him. I'll upload his pictures and the mating pictures soon.
Stay tuned! Would keep my fingers crossed. Would love to see the two together. Keep up the good work on your dog. |

mercy348: they have already remove ticks from it body manually and with the help of tick spray. I still feel the dog should be crossed examined o to avoid stories that touch. Prevention they say is better than cure. Please a stray dig with no history you know of |

aywhy93: When Trixie was 8 Months Old, She Came on her first heat... Though she was looking big enough and some people/breeders said I should mate her but I decided not to since I've read a lot about mating Dogs on their first heat and it isn't really good, for the type of puppies I really want at least. So I decided to take the chill pill and let her grow more and mate her on her second or third heat.
Fast forward to March 2018, Trixie came on heat again and I already made the decision to mate her this time around cuz she's looking so big and mature enough to handle the pregnancy now. Then I started searching for a good stud to use, I remember posting a thread here on Nairaland for any available good stud to use but I wasn't really okay with the ones I saw. I knew I would get a better Stud so I kept on searching until I found a large pedigree stud.
I always get on well with Dogs generally and I don't get scared around them even If I'm meeting the dog for the first time but when I saw and met this huge stud, Damn... I was so scared that I could feel my heart forcing its way out of my chest. The dog was freed from its cage right in front of me and I thought it was a setup, like they want the dog to tear me into pieces. To my surprise, the owner was just controlling it with the words of his mouth as if he was using a remote to switch channels on TV. I must admit, I haven't seen a Boerboel that huge face-to-face in my life. The head is almost 3 x bigger than Trixie's head. Must be a very huge male boerboel am sure pictures won't do justice to |

mercy348: my junior brother found a stray dog around our house yesterday and his willing to keep it though it a female dog. the dog is very lean and somehow look sick. but I hope keeping it won't affect my other dog. Just be careful the dog should not infect your dogs since its a stray dog and also if you want to care for the dog you have to separate it from your dogs and give her treatments first and also check her out if there are no ticks and fleas on her body also. Just be careful tho since you don't know about her much. Temepratments and all. And lastly check for symptoms of rabies on her also. You can take her to your vet for cross examination tho |

Just one cannot do the security alone you need at least one more local dog to complement the one you bought and it will be better if the dogs are raised together. |

vincentjk: I currently have 3 big collars at home and it's just For the boys. Murphy isn't wearing a collar because i felt he's more comfortable without any since we're home, but the next picture I'll upload I'll make sure he wears his collar
Well for the stud sha i never planned using them for breeding or stud service, I'm a dog owner/lover and not a breeder Does not matter bro, instance of a dog lover that sees Gustav and want to use him for his/her bitch of quality are you going to reject it. Gustav should have offspring you know |

Sir Murphy does not have a collar why? I basically think you should get a neck collar that befits him just like Gustav has one already. Hope the dogs will also be available for stud services too or you don't plan to use them for stud yet. Cheers |
