Activating the pin is a big issue here oooo. Got the first pin, msc OSS what chosen for me by default. Pin condemned!
Got a second pin, showing invalid email. Changed email....which is not even recognized. Called the helpdesk no response. Sent them an email which wasn't productive as they told me to do what I have already done.
Naija, NL, Trump and PTDF....show some love here abeg....

Hey guys... I was also shortlisted for 15th November. I studied mechanical engineering. My problem is that I can't make it to Lagos because of distance and other reasons. Is there a way to change exam centres to maybe PH?

My guy, u had better prep urself as I met a guy that came from ph(diobu) on that day i wrote my test, also met someone that came from abj.... it's all part of sacrifices one has to do for securing a job... if for other reasons aside distance, u had better package ur story and lie very well so they can release u from ur place of work prior to 15th....eg...tell them u have an interview at a country (of ur choice) embassy in lagos by 8 am..... (it's only enemy of progress that will not want to let you leave on hearing that) and tell them on time...... abeg i no teach u to dey lie oh.... just dey give u scope.... thank me later

fellow MEE, judging from comments on this thread and some other ones iv gone through, I discovered function specific test as its name implies meant that we will be test based on our area of specialty after we might have done the general aptitude test or vice versa.....

here are some examples based on mechanical Engineering.

1.. study these statements and chose the correct option
statement 1; a partern is made exactly similar to the part to be cast
statement 2; a pattern is used to make mould cavity for pouring molten metal for casting.

A. Both the statements are true and statement 2 is correct reason for statement 1
B. Both the statements are true but statement 2 is not the correct reason for statement 1
C. Statement 1 is true and statement 2 is false
D. Both the statements are false

2. Arrange the following strokes in the order in which they occur in a 4- stroke engine.
1. exhaust stroke
2. compression stroke
3. power stroke
4. intake stroke

a. 4,2,1,3 b. 4,3,2,1 c. 4,2,3,1 d. 4,3,1,2



based on these examples u can't tell me now that because I have a b. Tech nd u having a b. SC in MEE from different schools stops u or me from knowing one or two things in our area of specialization.... it's assumed we all went through same course content despite attending various schools...... so I hope this helps in guiding you..... and other courses

now imagine urself to be on the recruitment team nd finding out a particular candidate opt in for more than two positions in different MDAs, how and what will be ur assessment on that candidate

my guess

1. he/she is not sure of whatever he/she needs (in short jack of all trade)
2. due to no 1 reason his/her application becomes void at that instance because u blocked one or two chance of pple who are qualified for other positions
3. ur sense (no hating/abuse) should guide you through to determine which is best for u of all the options then put ur hope in God


Even though there's no message/warning stopping you from doing so, but i will advise you use ur initiative because fcsc is an umbrella for all MDAs who will go through the selection process. had it been it's different organization handling different ministry, then it's advisable you register for all..... what you did by registering for many posts might be a good reason to drop candidates who are faulted for multiple registration at the first stage.
