addidework: hello house pls i need some guidance. I got a refusal based on POF and was told i could opt for an administrative review. I presented statement of account in Naira and another currency. The case officer calculated the other currency as Naira and so it reduced the POF amount. This way my POF became short by about 3k GBP instead of being in excess of over 2k GBP. Please how do i go about the review. Do i need to attach any further documents. I feel so hurt and cheated. Sorry about that. You should try and inform your school. They might be able to help. Someone I know had similar issue last year and informed the school and the school contacted UKVI. After few days, was told to return the passport to tls and they approved the visa. |

dduchess90: Hello
Yes unfortunately you can't bring your dependant because your time spent each session is just 6months , not longer and not up to 9months for conditions 1 or 2(see screenshot)
There's nothing you can do ,if you apply for your dependants visa he /she will be denied
Cheers Oh....that's sad. Thanks for your response. I appreciate. |

dduchess90: Hello
Yes you can
1. You need to meet the usual requirements for spouse dependant visa i.e maintenance,IHS,visa and evidence to show your marriage/relationship is real
2. When you have to travel to other countries for study, she can apply for a Schengen visa if you want her to join you.
Cheers Thank you for your response ma'am. The university immigration team stated to me that the duration for the first semester and last semester in Reading is only for 6 month each and different cas will be issued to me at the beginning and ending of the course and that I am illegible to come with a dependent even though the course is 2 years and a full time course. Please is there anything I can do? And do you think I can still go ahead and apply for visa for my dependent and I? I am so confuse right now. Kindly respond @dduchess90 and other gurus |

Good morning, I got a scholarship where I will be paying only 25% of my total tuition fee. The program is a full time program (Masters in Food System in University of Reading, Uk) where I will be spending 6months in University of Reading at the beginning and end of my program (total duration in Reading is 1 year) after which I will be going to 2 other European countries in between the program.
My question is I just got married last month, will I be able to travel with my spouse on dependent visa?
@dduchess90 and other gurus Please kindly respond to my question. Thanks in advance. |

DeeOneBangin: It’s not going to affect anything. So long you have evidence such as marriage certificate and few pictures or chats from a few years back. You want to prove to the eco that the relationship may have been going on for a while before getting married.
Others can jump on this to assist the Op. Thank you so much. |

DeeOneBangin: You can get married at any time. Just prove that the marriage is genuine and subsisting. Thanks for the response. So it means I can apply to schools as single and while processing visa, I can state that I am married (I will be married by then) and it won't affect anything?. |

Good evening, Please I need clarification on something. My fiancé and I want to relocate to uk via study visa. He's the sponsor and the dependent, we intend to get married (registry) after I get the admission offer but before visa application as we want to leave together. My question now is won't they think we got married because of the relocation And is there a better way to go about it |
