bashexyz: I dont really know much about web design or web application. but going to an ICT center means u must have money cos they charge much. You can get videos and ebooks to put yourself thru. And u will also need to do some small gigs maybe free. To build your profile and get reference for other jobs. And when u decide to go for or networking i can put thru on that. you dont need to go to an ICT Center for that one. I have a couple of materials i can share with you.

bashexyz: @tekkyboy. go for the one u most passionate about. They are both good fields. You need to find self motivation cos that what will push thru. there are alot of challenges going into I.T. Am a networking and security expert. So incase u decide to go into networking am always free to guide you thru.

bashexyz: First and Foremost if you are going into I.T for the money u wont go far.

You need to have a passion for what you want to do.

I.T is information Technology and technology is using knowledge to solve problems and not using knowledge to make money.

so whatever decision you wanna make and whatever field you find yourself in. make sure you are doing it for the passion and not the money.

Then i can advise you on what you wanna do.

MEILYN: when I make all the money I need then I will go to school. Even if I go to school now and graduate, when looking for a job, you will see stuffs like 'with 5years experience'. I wanna get all those experiences, so that when I graduate I won't be going around begging for jobs, I will know how to start up a business myself. Am not even an illiterate lol, most people that discuss with me think am a graduate. In my office, it is only my M.D that knows I only have an 0level. I am 20times better than some graduates working in my office. #fact

cbrass: Honestly Bro, that's it, am sure if the man that interviewed you was a government official he won't even wait for you to finsih since it was just O level you had, and this is why we will never get it in naija until we look beyond the certificates. Imagine an IT person that can not connect just two computers to the internet, this happened where I did my SIWES, infact the guy cooked up a CV for them and they took pack am chop like indomie, he was later sacked this year after 4months. After about 6years in the university what did I learn, dy/dx . No single application taught, we keep cramming a lecture not the lecture used when he was in 200L nad the man has been a lecturer for about 15years just imagine that! I would have dropped out in 200L to focus more on my webprogramming but my parents will curse me, I and my lectures just had to keep decieveing ourselves to be learning something until I finally graduated.

Wizeboy: Haa bro, I am so sorry, I will prefer to keep it as secret please! I have discovered over time that once you mention Shipping Company on nairaland and so many people started using them, their service normally become slow and they always become irresponsible and unreliable due to the high orders they will be receiving from nairalanders. I have change up to 3 shipping company because of that. I decided to keep this one to myself, nothing is special about my shipping company though, because they charge the same rate other shipping company charge which is $5 for normal shipping and N300 for custom clearance while $10 for express.

In case you don't have shipping company that you are using yet, you can try those suggested by Nairalanders in the past like Chrisvicmall (I have used them in the past and found them very reliable then), CHYBKE GLOBAL, ANTHAS, etc.

So, allow me to still be enjoying the uninterrupted full attention and very fast services I am currently enjoying from my new shipping company I am so sorry for been selfish in this regard.
