Since yesterday evening till this morning Police and military Helicopter has been hovering over Abuja city. Has anyone seen it too? Its a kind of weird.

There's an armed forces marathon going on. It cuts across different military and para-military organizations.
They had rehearsals yesterday evening. Security is a key component of the event.

You just confirmed my thought of you, Which is that you are a wounded dentist i.e. A former dental student that was withdrawn from the school due to poor grade.
Trust me, while in medical school we do wonder why dentistry had to be that stressful and difficult than medicine but that doesn't give you the audacity to come on a public forum like nairaland and say not so nice things about other people's profession.
Channel much of this energy into getting the best out of life.

The Emir didn't say sharia is bad or that it's bad to practice sharia. He only re-emphasise the obvious. Politicians play to the emotions of the electorate using the power of religion. Politics of religion is a deadly one in the Northern part of this country. Have you wondered why Gov. Yari said God is punishing them with meningitis because of their sins. He needed to say that to score a cheap religious and political point.
It's all politics bro.

My point is that, there is no need to defend sharia, going by your comment. Because the emir never talk less of sharia in his speech.

So if one did not study medicine , dentistry or any of all the shitty paramedical courses then he couldn't aachieve anything in life? no wonder doctors are committing suicide and dentist are disillusioned. Doctors collect #500/hour and u feel it's a thing of pride, while private practice for dentists are so limited they pray for government jobs or earn 70k per month and have to wear ties and a white coat on it. In my next world I would love to be a doctor but not in Nigeria because I have no regard for medical practice in Nigeria.

The enemies of Peace Mass will keep on circulating this for several times! The probability of Peace Mass being involved in an accident is higher than any other Mass Transit because it has the higher number of vehicles on the way! That's just the plain truth.

I thought I was the only person that noticed this fact. I have traveled with peace mass transit severally on their Lagos to Abuja route, the drivers are wonderful guys and very professional. However if their buses seem to be involved in accident more than the other transport companies, it is because thy have more buses that travel more routes than any other transport company in Nigeria.
That's a fact people. You are free to go check it up, the closest transport company to peace is God is good motors and it is no way near Peace mass transit.

You pay for Nursing Care in hospitals but the nurses will still tell you to cater for your patients.Nurses run shift duties but doctors work like donkeys. To be honest, Nigerian doctors are being overused.They go for weekend calls and still resume work immediately on Monday; no bathing, no brushing.Never can Nigerian doctors be compared to the Nurses, an eagle really looks like a chicken but they are never the same.The day Nigerian hospitals are privatised, that would be the day Nigerian nurses will know their levels.Nurses want to be paid like them but don't want to work the way they work.When Nurses go on strike, the hospitals still function because they can actually do your works.But when they go on strike,can you dare treating the patients? Please these people might be seen as getting money, they suffer more than they earn and never compare them to yourselves again.
Mind you, I am not a doctor but actually have a number of them around me.

You could have gone ahead to make a case for nurses rather than come here and vent your frustration about your profession on another profession.
Too many a time other professionals in the medical field tend to see doctors as their enemy and that's sad.
It could only have been in your village where medical students gets paid even before passing their medical examination.
Doctors, nurses, pharmacist and the likes are like other professionals in Nigeria, this country doesn't take care of anybody except the politicians.
A doctor has just talked about her profession, now go online and rant about yours or get busy than attack people who hardly know of existence.

I perfectly get it, Nigeria's system of education is at its lowest. It requires significant effort for very determined mind to get good education and enlightenment.
There are very sound and intelligent folks on this forum and it's a privilege to read their write ups.
