Good day everyone, pls has anyone got a letter of reference on a fixed deposit account from any bank in Nigeria recently or more precisely from Gtbank? |
justwise:hello @justwise, hope u r doing great., So i went to my bank GTbank, and was told that they don't give out such letters. that the only thing i can request for is a statement of the fixed deposit account which is not in a letter format. pls what do you suggest? |
justwise:Thanks a lot, and what will the content of the letter be like?.. and please kindly shed more light on why it is a bad idea to move the money. |
justwise:Thanks for your response,, but how do I prove that the fixed deposit is available for use. Was jst thinking since the maturity date is in 2 day's time (its been on a 35 day tenor for the past 1 year), I can jst give my bank d instruction not to roll it over and hence move it into my salary account. And then attach a statement of the fixed deposit to prove the source of fund. What do you think? |
Hi guys, please on the issue of visa application, I have two accounts, one salary account and one fixed deposit account in different banks. I intend to move the money from my fixed deposit into my savings account so as to have enough money. My question is should I move it into my salary account and use one bank with evidence that the money is from my fixed deposit, or should I move it into the savings account and present both bank statements? |
blank:Thanks for your response, so, an affidavit then. That should help, i guess,or what do you suggest? |
blank:Hello, err... please,i'm not quite sure i understand your point. are u saying it doesnt matter? |
justwise:so what do you suggest i do? because my first degree certificate has 'Philips' |
justwise:my passport, and recent documents (that is all documents after my first degree) all have "Philip". |
thanx @justwise for your reply. One more question please, My middle name is Philip, but in my school certificate,O level and one of my bank account, it is spelt with an s i.e 'Philips'. Do i need to worry about this as regards visa application, some people say it doesnt mean anything. Or do u think i should get an affidavit, will that help?. |
temi127:Please does anybody have a response to this, its kinda urgent..u'd be saving a life... |
hey guys, good morning...@vicjustice nice job. please concerning the letter of reference from employer, what should be included in the letter,Is it necessary for your employer to include the reason you are travelling (e.g if you are going for an exam) and is there any implications as to if the leave you are granted is paid or unpaid? |
Vicjustice:thanx. but would it help if i already have my accomodation sorted out. and like how much do you think i need to have in my account before making the application |
anybody with useful information can also help, thanks. |
hey @justwise, nice job?.. u d best.. please i need an advice, i'm a medical doctor about to apply for a uk visa to write plab2. i have a salary account but i just got a new job middle of last month, but before then. money has always been going in and out of the account. by the time i would be making the application (less dan a month time), d money in my account would be 420k.. but i also have a fixed deposit account (35 days rollover). my question is do i need to boost my salary account by like 150k, or should i just leave it like that and probably add my fixed deposit account.? |

greggng: I love this woman. She has impressed me with the way she had handled this issue so far. Those of you condenming her are like those in the bible who wanted to stone a harlot and jesus told them, if you ve no sin be the first to cast ur stone on her. My pray God condole her family and all those that ve died so far. Some of u infest ur partner with stds and yet u work freelyits easy for you to say this cuz u'v not been directly affected by her husband's actions... i'm sure the family of the late nurse and doctor of first consultants would find it easy not to throw rocks at her... . :|..... |
wait oh.....did she know her husband was coming to nigeria before he did?... cuz if she did and didnt do anything before he did, den she shld just go sit down somewhere jor... |
