It isn’t so difficult to get jobs in Canada from Nigeria as a graduate or just anyone with a good skill. (I explain some of the things you need to do in the community )

You just need to understand that the "job hunt" process is the same as normal way you look for work, but this time in a good country with stable economy and so many job opportunities available.

This reason Canada has become a target destination for Nigerians isn't difficult to fetch.

Canada is a country that has great opportunities but with little working professionals.
Thesame reason why the government puts systems in place such as Express entry, RNIP, and many other immigration pathways to call for skilled workers globally to come get residency and contribute to the growth of the country.

For those still in doubts as to why Canada scores above other countries for Nigerians. I will explain why

1️⃣ Great Job Opportunities

Overall in Canada, the number of job opportunities supersedes the number of working professionals in that country. That is the reason the Government opened up an official portal known as "jobbank" for employers to advertise job positions.
To get a job in Canada from Nigeria, all you need to do is to go to the portal. Once you find a job that suits you feel free to start your application.

However, TBH, the more skills and certificates you possess, the higher your chances of scoring an appointment.

2️⃣ English Language Requirements

Applicants from countries that are not English speaking, are required to provide a certificate of English competence. E.g. TOFEL, IELTS. But Nigeria is regarded as an English speaking country in Canada)

3️⃣High Salaried Jobs

The average salary you get in a month is arguably more than what is obtainable in Nigeria for nine months. So if you are looking for a reason to leave Nigeria and get a job in Canada, I think this should entice you.

Many people ask me, “Why is it so hard to get a job in Canada from abroad?” The truth is, most Canadian employers don’t want the hassle of hiring foreign workers unless it is absolutely necessary and I will tell you why.

In most cases, employers need an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment), which costs 1k dollars for each position requested to hire from abroad and this takes several months to be approved.
