I bought the MTN supposed international call bundle but was never able to use it a single day.

Every day for the whole seven days, I kept hoping it was just a temporary issue that will soon pass... Until the very last day came

What did I do next,
I really needed to call the IRS office (US), it's not something I could just give up on...

So the second week (this week) I bought another subscription of the same type IDB500 for 20mins, but this time on my second SIM, thinking that might make a difference.

This is where it all got my interest
I was debited successfully, but thesame old ghosting starts to repeat.

So this time, i called MTN support informing the attendant how I had first used my other sim and now have subscribed on the current sim but unable to call international numbers with my bundles

It goes " you don't have Airtime, dial *606# to borrow bla bla...
But I can call normally to Nigeria, no other issues of any kind. Just the plan I paid for not working.

She promised to forward my details and that I'll get a response in 24hrs. Second day I called same thing was said, 3rd,4th,5th the attendant who seemed to be the coolest so far said there was a response and it's that I should provide the phone number I'm trying to call and country, which I did give him.

6th day (Yesterday) morning I was really pissed and curious to know what was going on. I called again and explained the whole story to the attendant who just summarized my whole story and said, I quote

"I'm sorry you subscribed to MTN International bundle but have been unable to call with your bundle.... I will forward your details to..."

At that point, I paused her to ask what's gonna happen, if they're unable to resolve the case before my sub ends today, she stylishly avoided the question multiple times by saying she was going to forward the case immediately and prompt the department in charge to attend to it urgently....

And finally today, some hours before my sub was going to end, I called and was lucky to meet another cool male attendant, he expressed how he doesn't really have much power on the issue, and that the best he could do is forward bla bla....

Now I'm here, just pissed, real pissed. I don't know what to do as the inability to make the call has been affecting my progress in a couple of things (business related).

I know this is long, I appreciate you reading this far, I just needed a space to say this whole thing out as I wish I had found a post like this earlier. Swears
