The debate between iPhone and Android continues to rages on as new smartphones are being released every now and then. Oftentimes, I ask myself this question like why do people crave for iPhone over Android?

What is so special about iPhone? But I believe I am not the only one on this table asking this question; Smiles…. I believe there are many more who still wonder why and they want answers to justify this.

But in my curiosity and in my quest to know exactly why; I got to know some interesting facts and features iPhone offers over Android that makes people crave for it.

First, Continuity Feature
When I say continuity feature, I mean uninterrupted connection in transferring data from across your devices

For instance, let’s say you have MACOS or IPAD, you can copy text from your iPhone and edit it or use it on your MacOs or Ipad.

Universal clipboard allows you to copy data on iPhone and it will be useable on your other Apple devices. It is not even limited to text alone, you can also transfer pictures & documents seamlessly within seconds, view and edit them on your MAC.

Second, Seamless and quality Apps
Apple is known for its quality, probably that is the reason why iPhone always comes out more expensive than Android. The App store contains a variety of Apps with better integration with the phone’s core services and runs a bit smoother and cleaner on IOS than on Android. App like Apple pay, FaceTime and iMessage.

No Bloatware!
Unlike Android which comes with preinstalled Apps such as Google play music, Carlcare, PalmChat, and many more annoying Apps when you power it on at first time after purchase.

iPhone will never come with preinstalled App when you boot it up for the first time. It is clean from the very start which is an advantage when it comes to storage space.

Quicker software updates
Even on older iPhone devices, your Apple phone will receive the latest versions of IOS updates for a very long time and the software updates are instant and hassle-free resulting in an amazing experience throughout your usage period.

Android lacks on this feature because after 1 to 2 years of releasing an Android phone, you will stop getting an update and is really a big issue when you spend so much to purchase a smartphone and you’re being left behind few years after

Consistency & Ease of use.
People enjoy using products that are convenient, efficient, and less frustrating. And Apple has done a great job in keeping things really simple enough for its users to understand the operation and interface of the device.

The UI (user interface) and UX (user experience) allow users even laymen to figure out how to use the device without getting confused.

Less Security breaches
One of the myths about the iPhone is that it is more secure than android. Maybe yes, maybe Not; it is left for you to believe. But most users think that iPhone is safer because Apple has control over its products.

In the actual sense of it, it is partially true, but iPhone is not totally secure as it can also be infected by malware.

Circadian rhythms may mean difficulties falling asleep or staying awake at the appropriate time.

Generally, keeping your phone near you during sleep hours (at night) may prompt a continuous desire to continue refreshing, checking, responding, scrolling, clicking, posting, or playing games which exposes your eyes to blue light causing a reduction in sleep or Insomnia- Difficulty/trouble falling asleep.

Studies have revealed that mobile phone gives off electromagnetic radiation (EMR) which is a combination of electrical and magnetic energy that travels through space at the speed of light.

This radiation when it is high, it has a thermal effect; that is, it raises the body temperature and there are also concerns that it can cause headaches or brain tumors and body pain.

when it is close to your head while sleeping, you might wake up with a headache, body pain, or body weakness.

Mobile devices are designed to enhance our lives and not disrupt it.

What you should do?
Always reduce screen brightness, get an alarm clock if necessary. You should put your phone to charge in another room. Better still, you can switch it off.

Something comes to your mind and you just open your diary and pen it down.

This illustration describes a blog post. It is a means where you share something or a passion online for people to read and learn.

A blog usually has an author often referred to as a blogger. Bloggers are often in control of every content on their blog which can be in form of text, images, audios, videos, and links to other online resources.

A blog is usually for profit making. In other words, people blog in other to generate profit (money making).

Blogs are generally written in an informal or conversational manner whereby comments/discussions or questions are welcomed from the audience.

WEBSITE
websites are majorly developed to provide information and not to engage in discussion.

It is usually formal or written in a professional way. Most website content are static (meaning its content may not change compare to blog sites).

Examples of website are Amazon.com, Jumia.com, or any school website where you get information about registrations, admissions, payments e.t.c.

Websites usually belong to cooperate organizations, companies, businesses & industries, schools, and government agencies, unlike blogs which may be owned by one individual.

Although the line between a blog and a website is very thin, you can always differentiate them through the content and what information or services they provide.

FORUM
Forum is a type of blog which requires group input. It constitutes a group of people or members who come together to share their thoughts or experiences on a subject matter or niche which may either be in sports, politics, religion, education, technology, relationships e.t.c

Forum always has a moderator i.e someone or people who are in charge and controls what topics are being posted on a particular discussion.

One of the most popular forum in Nigeria is Nairaland.com which is Nigeria’s most visited online forum.

In forums, members are all equal. Anyone can start a discussion on a topic and others can reply. In essence, a forum is user-generated content unlike blogs & websites.

So I do hope you get the major difference between blogs, forums, and websites. Based on this, you can decide to start any of these as it may matter to you.

OP when will you Understand that First class Degree doesn't guarantee you a First class life? i'm not saying Getting first class isn't good ooo.. But in Nigeria today, it's as good as Nothing. Ppl roam the streets today looking for work everywhere. the economy is bad... even ppl with first class that are lucky enough to get work are loosing the Work daily. I think it's time every Nigerian youth acquire a Skill.. work with your hand... and be Smart with your Work. this first class You are talking about not everyone has the brain for it... some ppl no matter how hard they try can only make do with 2'1... Some have First class brain but couldn't make it due to other reasons...
Exams are not necessarily the true test of intelligence. Life itself is the real exam and only the ones who becomes successful are termed Smart and Brave regardless of the degree. How would you feel having a First class but working for someone with a third class or Second class lower and calling him Boss.?? Students should try as much as possible to get Good grades but shouldn't depend on it cos good grades ain't good life.. (at least not in Nigeria).. get a Skill, enhance your Skill and be Smart @what you do. In no time, you won't have to depend on a Useless Government
