Augusti: Hey! Aren't you too fast? I've just been admitted to study Economics. Just wanna ask the courses I'm gonna take in the first year. Acc, Ssc, Eco, ...: will pol be among the electives? Am I gonna do a course- not topic- majorly Banking? Congrats bro. sorry about my speed . Congratulation!!! I'm happy for you. But about first year courses I don't really know much (I graduated from faculty of science) but you will be doing some general courses with other departments like Accounting, Geography, Demography e.t.c... I think they are ssc101, ssc 103, ssc105, I don't really know the course titles but I'm sure ssc105 is just like secondary school maths......... I will send you a guy's number (he graduated from economics last year) and one lecturer's details in your faculty that I know will attend to you for proper orientation. I can't paste that here. Congrats once again! |

Augusti: To start, were you in Faculty of Social Sciences or Administration? No. Sciences. But my cousins are there presently and I helped them during the processing so I know so much about the two Faculties. For example if you want to study Economics ( in the faculty of social science) or Accounting (in the faculty of Administration), Economics is the most important subject after Mathematics and English in both utme and o'level results. Even if your name appear on the list, you will be screened out at the level of faculty. You can confirm this. |

Augusti: You guys should make sure to check the Special Consideration Remarks in JAMB brochure or preferably, the website of the school of your choice for courses with, for example '... either two of Social Science subjects'. I've got a friend who applied for Accountancy (of 262 cut-off mark) in OAU and got 281 as average aggregate in UTME and post-UTME, but has not been admitted definitely because he did Commerce instead of Accounts in JAMB. So guys, make enough research. Goodluck! I have said it times without number that OAU does not see commerce as a subject, either in O'level or UTME. Our people must be well guided. I'm sorry for the guy though. |

ibadanfinest: unilag 2015 admission thread was wonderful, unilag 2016 admission thread am sure is gonna be awesome. Unilag is the school of first choice, one of the top schools in 9ja and one of the easiest school to gain admission to if you are not academically lazy and well guided. Welcome to the official thread of unilag 2016 jambites. This will not be all about admission guide alone as we gonna throw questions to aspirants on subjects like English maths Phy chem bio econs account literature and govt. My big bros labodinho, the intelligent umartin01, sodiq80, sumbody, etc will help out in both advise and dishing out questions. Let the thread begins!!! Nice one bro. I followed 2015/2016 thread and I saw the wonderful work you people did (and still doing). Congrats to umartins01 (one of the greatest mathematician around) on his admission, He's surely needed here too. Happy Sunday to everyone. |

chronique: Did anyone take note of this paragraph? This is a confession by a sitting governor about how he rigged/manipulated the outcome of the presidential election in his zone, and twarted the choice/will of his people. When I tell people that the 2015 elections,is one of the worst we've had in this nation,I know what I'm talking about. The 1993 elections and the 2011 elections, are the best elections we've had in Nigeria's contemporary history. The 2015 elections and the sham elections conducted under OBJ are same of the same. Nigerians do not have leaders yet and as such, shouldn't expect a better nation. For Nigeria to be great again, all those who are currently in politics, and have been in politics before, should be sent on exile(never to return again),or assassinated and cleared out of the land. Including your hero Jonathan? |
