It was a somber and unsettling night that left many students at the institution with numerous unanswered questions. This distressing incident took place on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, around 7:30 PM.



An unnamed student from Benue State University, Makurdi, tragically ended his own life by jumping from a pedestrian bridge onto the busy expressway, where he was struck by a passing vehicle. Following the impact, the student was promptly transported to the University's teaching hospital, where medical professionals confirmed his unfortunate demise.



This metal bridge, situated in close proximity to the school's main entrance, spans the Makurdi-Gboko Road.



Nevertheless, the circumstances surrounding this tragic event remain shrouded in controversy. In discussions with fellow students, some have suggested that depression may have played a role, while others have even speculated that external factors could have contributed. As of the time of compiling this report, the exact motive behind the student's actions remains undisclosed.

It has been a black Wednesday for the people of Offa in Kwara State and the students of Fedpoffa after a serious accident happened involving a tricycle and a Toyota Camry.
The incident happened along ojoku road and the permanent site of the federal polytechnic of Offa.
It was reported that only three souls were in the tricycle when it happened. The life of the driver was lost immediately with his body tore into pieces. Pray the Lord stop such evil occurrence.
Rest in peace to the lost soul.

Our so called lecturers are only greedy of there belly on the basis of this IPPIS of a thing, the system they have been using before was organized by them, it cover there frauds.

Do you realize some of our lecturers aren't lecturing in a single institution, some are lecturing in polytechnics at the same time a lecturer in university and they being paid at both places, the work that supposed to be given to unemployed vibrant youths.

I remembered vividly then one of my lecturer would come only on Friday to teach us in poly. Whereas, he has spent the whole week in another university.

Those are some of the lapses this IPPIS is about to fix but they are aware of their loss.
