Foreign Affairs › Re: The Fuel War In Russia Following The African Scenario by Ten06(m): 7:30am On Jul 25 |
Your comparison leaves out a crucial fact. Russia did not become a victim of infrastructure strikes in a vacuum, it pioneered that strategy in this war. From the very beginning of its full-scale invasion, Russia systematically targeted Ukraine's power plants, substations, water systems, fuel depots, ports, and other civilian infrastructure in an attempt to cripple the country's economy and break the population's will. Ukraine's strikes on Russian oil refineries and energy facilities came later as part of its effort to degrade Russia's ability to finance and sustain its military campaign. Equating the two without acknowledging who initiated the systematic destruction of infrastructure is misleading and distorts the sequence of events. A balanced analysis must recognize that Russia opened this chapter of the war by deliberately attacking Ukraine's critical infrastructure on a massive scale. Ignoring that context undermines the credibility of your argument. The way some of you think, you may even be worse than those terrorist with your sentimental reporting |

This one is not an issue. The issue is Europe should be doing more to help keep a vital international shipping routes like the strait of HURMUZ open instead of relying so heavily on the U.S. Since European economies also depend on secure global trade, sharing the responsibility through naval support, diplomacy, and joint security efforts would be a fairer approach. Protecting international waterways should be a shared responsibility, not one carried mainly by one country |

No VirusVaccine: On 20th Dec 2025 I paid 2.7M With 700k as agent fee amongst other expenses (the sublessor who is a company said that their office activities needs to be evacuated from the building, so I should wait till January 1st). then on 1st January, 2026, I moved into my new 1 room residential apartment for which the sublessor (company) uses the main building for their official activities and just yesterday the company as the sublessor gave me a Non-renewal notice Reason that they want to “convert the property into office space for its operational use” and they are discontinuing renewal of rent.
Note that before I moved in, the company was making use of the said apartment/property which they rented to me with some of their desks still in my possession.
I have done a number of renovations on the property from - changing seating room window and entrance door, - bought door and window burglaries, - construction of an extension to prevent crawling and flying insects, rain water - German Flooring a 6/7ft floor at the entrance - painting - amongst other things
Honestly, this whole situation has sent me into depression, physiologically imbalance and anxiety.
Please I need guidance on this situation Before you start the renovation did you have an agreement to renovate with the sublessor? You don't go into renovating another person's property without consulting the property owner just because you rented it |

She is hiding something. If you can’t find the thing out now, you will regret it when you later discover that thing. E.g she may be spending time with the main guy. It may be that you are a spare |

The ink they used back then deserves an award. It's the real one, still looking fresh after all these years without fading. Meanwhile, today's ink starts disappearing before you even finish reading.
The day the iron condemn people will discover this place, you won't see anything there again. Those guys are professional scavengers. They even removed the gate protecting my street transformer. If they had more time, they'd probably uproot the transformer itself and go with it.
We caught one after he broke into someone's house. The moment he found a gap, he took off. His speed was unbelievable, he accelerated like a fully loaded mini bus on an expressway. We chased him with all our strength, but all we saw was dust. At that point, I started wondering if we were chasing a human being or an Olympic sprinter. |

The way you dress and carry yourself has a significant impact on how people treat you. In my experience, law enforcement officers rarely give me trouble. Most of the time, they take one look at me and choose not to subject me to the kind of harassment others often face. Even in situations where they attempt to exert unnecessary authority, I remain calm, respectful, and confident, and I often decline unreasonable demands without any issues. I'm not a young man anyway |

Kobicove: Just imagine the nightmare one will face when travelling by road...you might encounter policemen from 6 or 7 different states then also have to deal with federal policemen.
If there is an accidental discharge by a policeman and it results in death, finding the culprit will be virtually impossible because all the states will deny culpability! Even with the current police checkpoints on the road, I have stopped traveling with my car. I don't want anyone to stress me or waste my time when all my vehicle documents and particulars are in order. Coupled with the bad roads |

Politicstoday: With the US-Iran deal signed & the Strait of Hormuz reopening, global crude prices WILL fall. Dangote Refinery has no excuse — gantry price should drop to ≈₦900/litre.
Nigerians deserve pump prices of ₦950–₦1,050/litre. NOT ₦1,300+.
The Hormuz crisis inflated prices. The crisis is ending. The savings must flow to the people. 🇳🇬

AMINDA: The government is not focused on the substance of the case as they have nothing to hold against him. The focus is rather on keeping him away from the 2027 conversation because Tinubu himself knows the capacity of Elrufai to unmake him as president. The ingrates and betrayers will be taught bitter political lessons come 2027. Stories. He himself had treated people wrongly too. Let him learn his lesson that power is transient.
