If you cannot do such go to the designated venue to do your owanbe. Shikena Usually, protest doesn't need official body to be carried out. |

DeLaRue: I am in a South West state for an assignment.
There is zero talk of protests here. People are mostly not interested.
I think there's more protest talk going on online that in the real world.
Abuja, and some states will have a few protests here and there, but in many states, it will be mostly business as usual.
People underestimate how much an average citizen fear the ruthlessness of Nigerian police and the armed forces in a riot scenario.
You might say it would be a peaceful protest, but once you gather with strangers you know nothing about, you'll not have a say in whether things remain peaceful or riotous.
All you need for things to go from good to bad is just one protester throwing a stone or object that lands on a Police man that draws blood. Another exasperated police may, in that instant, fire a live bullet, and in the process down one or 2 protesters. Then all hell breaks loose, in a flash.
It is not worth it. Stay away. We have more mouth than mind. We can make mouth online but out there it will be as quiet as anything. I said it before. The only protest that can work is the one that these abokis are involved. |

Why do some of you Africans hate yourselves so much. When you see white men with grown out hair you respect them because it’s their natural hair. But when your hair grows out, you feel MUST shave it off because it’s not normal. It’s unnatural. It’s dirty. Do you realize the implications? No wonder you worship light skin.
Shaving off of hair was a thing the slave masters did to strip us of our identity before selling us into slavery. That some of you don’t even know this is concerning but what’s worse is that you hate people who choose to grow out their hair in its natural form that God created them. Embarrassing Society evolves and so is also culture. There was a time when many men that is not so today .used to tie rapper but |

There are better ways to go about things. We can't keep doing things the archaic ways and expect modern results, doesn't work that way. He has done more to discourage that dude from education which is the exact opposite of his job.
If he joins a cult now, people will call him names but have you considered the mental impact this has had on him? One of the major reasons cultism is still a huge thing in higher institutions is because of the high-handedness of lecturers. Students who can't face them will choose to pour that frustration on their fellow students.
Things can't keep happening this way. We keep building monsters with our methods and wondering where things went wrong. It's not the devil, IT IS US! WE ARE THE DEVIL! People like you are the ones that keep breeding monsters in the world. Too much freedom is what has spoiled our world today. The way we reason sometimes is worrisome. When it comes to training especially for we blacks, sometimes you have to be strict. We like pointing to the white as a reference point and forget that those white first of all built their society from this strictness, before the later generations became better and better till they got to where they are today. |

Politics › Re: Four Reasons You Should Not Join The Nationwide Protest by TerAdo: 9:33pm On Jul 25, 2024 |
Wisdomkosi: OPINION : Four Reasons You Should Think Before Joining The Nationwide Protest
By Wisdom Nwedene
Ahead of the planned nationwide protest scheduled to kick off on August 1st, 2024, I strongly believe that Nigerian Youth should think twice before joining the protest.
Though, there are genuine reasons for the protest but I have four strong reasons which made me to believe that this protest is not in the best interest of the country at the moment.
Below are my reasons
1. The organisers Of The Protest Are Faceless Individuals : It's crystal clear that those organising this protest are not known till now. I recommend that this type of protest should have leaders that should be calling the shots in case things go wrong. In a protest where everyone is a leader, many things can happen. The organisers should be at the forefront, leading the protesters and controlling the crowd so that things won't go wrong.
2. Thugs Can Hijack The Protest: It's very difficult to organise a peaceful protest in a country battling with bandits, criminals, hoodlums and expect things to go fine.
3. It's Still Early To Judge Tinubu’s Government : I still believe that it's too early to judge Tinubu’s Administration by leading this type of heavy protest against him. Despite that his policies are too harsh, Tinubu still needs time to address issues and bad policies of previous administrations.
4 All of us can still remember what happened during the EndSARS protest. Many lives were lost and property worth billions of Naira destroyed. How sure are we that this Nationwide won't degenerate to what happened during EndSARS protest? I think we should think twice. We can't afford to lose more lives and our national assets destroyed again just like what is happening in Kenya.
(Wisdom Nwedene is a Nigerian social media strategist, writer, journalist.)
Source : https://igberetvnews.com/1469964/opinion-four-reasons-think-joining-nationwide-protest/ FOUR REASONS TO JOIN THE PROTEST 1. We don't need any organizer for protest. It's a collective efforts to reset Nigeria. Our mumu don do 2. The government has not made any effort to address the suffering of Nigerians since the notice of nationwide protest. If you are afraid that the protest will be hijacked then address the issues bothering on the hunger and suffering of Nigerians 3. Since Tinubu entered office, he has not done anything to improve the lives of the masses. Life is becoming harder and harder so we don't have to wait till we all get dead. 4. Whether we like it or not, people are already dying. We made a mistake during endsars and we will correct that this time. Had it been that we came out even more after the Lekki killings and continued the protest, things would have changed by now. Sometimes blood need to be shed for a good change to occur. Many innocent children lost their lives and women lost their children during the birth of Christ. We need to put the fear of death behind us to change things in this country. SOLIDARITY FOR EVER... |

My opinion is for the FG to do the needful. Attend to the issues raised and look out a way to tackle those issues especially this high cost of fuel. Onces the government takes drastic measures in tackling those issues, nobody will talk about protest again |

These kind of videos are most times mischievous. Just like the way they were counting PBAT convoy to Lagos when as a Lagos boy coming home he will have hordes of supporters joining his convoy. The Tanzanian president may be going for a function and most cars in the convoy are those of supporters and well wishers or even government officials Yeah sometimes it's like that. Career › Re: Which Business Can I Do Online That Will Increase ₦150k To ₦500k Within 6 Months by TerAdo: 9:56pm On Jul 18, 2024 |
Favinzo: Good day everyone!
So I completed my secondary school education in 2018, and I'll be starting college next year, to study Computer Engineering. My dad had bought me a laptop in 2017, when I was still in secondary school, but it started having issues about a year later and my dad spent a lot of money (about 50k) for repairs alone. He then gave up on the laptop and decided he would get me a new one soon. But it's been two years plus, and he is yet to give me a new one, because of some projects he has at hand.
Before the laptop started having issues, I had mastered everything, from typing fluently to operating the basic softwares such as Ms word, excel, PowerPoint, etc. After I completed my high school education, I started working in the church media unit, and in no time, I was the most preferred media personnel when it comes to scripture projecting, prayer points typing and more.
On July 17th this year, a man favoured me and gave me 160k to get myself a laptop. Since there are only mid-tier laptops at that price range, I decided that I'll keep the money, till when I raise about 200k extra to get a good laptop for 250k, capable of 3d animation which I desire to learn, and to also get myself a secondary monitor, mobile hotspot and a camera to start a YouTube Channel.
I've kept the money for about six months now. It's still intact because it's with my mom. But since it'll take time to save to that amount in order to add and buy the laptop, I have decided to invest the money in any business that will make me at least a 500k under six months. Is there any business that I can venture into?
I would really prefer online businesses that can be done with a mobile phone because of my health issues. But any business idea would still be appreciated!
Thanks! If you can get a good location,POS can grow that money more than that within six months |
