I keep saying it No matter the poverty, when a relationship fails/breaks the woman should take her child/children becos you are slowly killing the children by leaving them with their father. Even when he comes for them you chase him with stick. 99.9 stepmothers pretends when the man is at home and no sooner he leaves the children becomes her punching bags. I pity men though becos they are turned into slowpoke and that is what they happily bought for themselves.

Hi CioAngels, I can not understand, why a lot of contributors to this thread are making this child abuse incidence a platform to engage in discourse about child custody rights. I asked someone on this thread before and I am asking you too.
1) Have you not heard of how children of single/divorced mothers who get married are sexually violated by step parents or step siblings
2) Do you not think that we should focus on discussing about structures that exist to protect vulnerable groups among us, where they are living with biological or step parents?
3) Should we not be more worried about the 99.9% serial child abusers which according to you are women?

Finally the chasing a man with a stick part scares me as it is reminiscent of the violent tendencies that have found expression in the lives of the kids here. #SayNoToViolenceAtAllTimes

Have you not heard that some step fathers molest their step kids. Come on!! this issue has nothing to do with who the kids leave with following a marital breakdown. Step parents own their step kids a duty of care, love and protection from violent victimization. We should be talking about the existence of legal frameworks that serve to enforce these inalienable rights of the kids and not this talk about who keeps a child following divorce.

The brazen violent victimization of these children has nothing to do with the biological mother of the kids.

The issue here is that, a child has the right to be treated right, and leave a life free of any form of abuse regardless of the circumstances surrounding his birth or existence. The circumstances may include: abandonment, death of one or both parents, or separation form one or both parents due to war or marriage breakdown.

The step mother is culpable as well as the dad who under his watch, the abuse of vulnerable children have continued for so long, apparently without any intervention from him.

Below is the pics of my small garden.
I planted tomatoes, vegetable, pepper and Sweet potatoes.

We've not been buying tomatoes since march..even when tomatoes became costly. We've been eating the tomatoes and vegetable from my small garden.. Sometimes, when it becomes too much.. We give to our neighbors and friends.

It has helped me and my family and our neighbors a bit.
