1. Speaker of the Rivers state house of assembly.
2. Chairman of the conference of speakers in Nigeria.
3. Governorship candidate of the PDP in 1999.

Amaechi versus Omehia at the supreme court was a very straight forward case. Any lawyer could have won Amaechi that case at the supreme court.
