I hate it when a team is doing so well, scoring so many goals, winning points and still need to pray another team stumbles before they can win the league.

But team can't win except another loses. The person who won the highest point wins the league and every team must definitely drop points somewhere, no team has ever won a league with 100% win

The funny thing is that you won’t see all those British & American curriculum/curricula schools here. If it’s to insult their teachers they will top the chart

Bros many from those schools don't do JAMB. They are prepared to leave Nigeria immediately after secondary school.

It's grammatically correct but doesn't give full context. "She" could be referring to the mother or the daughter.

The correct way to express it is something like:

"A mother beats up her daughter because she (the mother) was drunk".

"A mother beats up her daughter because she (the daughter) was drunk".

"A mother beats up her daughter because she, the daughter, was drunk".

"A mother beats up her daughter because she, the mother, was drunk".

Update:

Even better ways to provide clarity:

“A mother beats up her daughter, who was drunk”.

“A mother, who was drunk, beats up her daughter”.

A drunk mother beats up her child.

The sad thing is we are still defending the naira

We are still paying subsidies ( but way of NNPC taking massive losses)

So what did Tinubu achieve by those ill planned policies?

Nothing, they were just policies of a man drunk with drug and power. He said before election that whether they like it or not, we will remove subsidy. So much arrogance by the same man who once organised people at ojota to oppose the same policy, and some mumu still voted for him. But it is the way to go for a man of pride and perdition, he must rise first, so that his fall can be seen by all.

Full Warth of the law cannot be impose on some specific individuals, the wealthy and Rich. We only lie to ourselves if that fact isn't accepted... Not specifically in Nigeria alone, it is global.

You don't hear in sane society that individuals no matter how wealthy, influential or highly placed he or she is walked into a government treasury and literally looted it for personal gain. If such happens the person with his position will face full wrath of their law. It is actually insane to rationalise that such behaviour shouldn't be punished because people who did it are privileged and still expect a society to function. How can a society that allows free for all looting to occur prosper? Many of us have grown used to absurdity that we no even longer know right from wrong, left from right.

Avoid it been stolen than thinking of getting it recovered...With a good defense in court, such case can linger for 10yrs or more and they aren't foolish not to jump into the available party to discuss a soft landing.
Electricity ,Water Board, Sewage and all should be privatize and thr government should focus on increasing all wages... The money used in paying Subsidy for all this should be added to workers salaries, moreover the Subsidy paid are inflated by certain individuals.
most Waterboard usually spend nothing less than 200Million monthly in water production, all this are subsidized by the government and certain individuals are only just stealing and not providing the needed services, while the end users are just wasting the treated water...Subsidy should be removed in all sectors ,if you ask me.

If you don't penalise the stealers, you create an enabling environment for future stealing. No tangible progress can be made in such a corrupt environment.

Let's not claim ignorant of some facts, All the money pumped into the power sector by the federal government from 2000,until the privitilization of NEPA were all stolen. Your claim about tackling corruption is just an imaginary tale. We are in the modern age and someone from Kogi Took 80BN, the only thing will be some Jail term and recovery of some amount.
Earlier we accept the truth, Africans in government institutions are corrupt, the pressure from support groups and others are driving them into theft.
Privitalizing and the total removal of Subsidy from such sector will be the beginning of our success.
Let the government be saddle with the job of thinking on how to increase the nation's minimum way, by ensuring all, private companies are fully taxed and by employing other government instruments.
What the Minister of power simply did was actually stopping government from paying Subsidy on Band A and we are all shouting.

If the money were stolen and government is aware, what have they done to recover the stolen money. If they recover stolen money and reinvest, they won't need to saddle citizens with so much burden. Are they not part of the same people who have stolen the money?

poor performance of student in 2024 utme examination. who is to be blamed? Parents, teachers , student.
let's discuss.

Something is wrong with the mathematics first - The sum of the total scores posted is 1,927,935, not 1,842,464. This is the reason why the percentages didn't add up to 100. 0.5+4.2+24+76 = 104.7
If our public institutions can't get basic mathematics right, why do you blame the students for performing poorly in JAMB? Standards have fallen generally in Nigeria.

Electricity has greatly improved. The major current problem now is pricing. The subsidy keeps mounting and FG knows it's not sustainable to keep the subsidies. If people price electricity well and pay for it they will demand for the best service but if FG keeps subsidising it there will be too much wastages and inefficiency like predominates before now.

May Amadioha visits you if the above is a lie.

You definitely are the one making Nonsense from all the sensible thing he have said.
In as much as it hurts to say, increasing tariff is the only way to attract investors...It isn't in his place to consider how much the minimum way is, that is left to the government and ministers in that sectors to figure it out .
No serious investors will bring in their Billions of dollar into our power sector if a price increment isn't done. That is the way we can guarantee a reasonable amount or power.

What has happened to all the money invested in the sector over these years? Everytime I see the list of government institution owing power bills, I ask is it that money was never allocated for those payments? Why has government refused to tackle corruption and recover stolen money first? Why does it leave the money he could recover and prefer to transfer the hardship on ordinary Nigerians? What is the guarantee that after increasing the tarrif, they still wont end up stealing the money? And finally how do you contemplate billing without first providing meters for Nigerians? The bill you want to give them, where do you intend to get the readings?
Answer those questions and you will find out how stupid it is to keep supporting the thieves in power.

Why do we always have news of tanker explosion in Nigeria?

I have checked other western nations extensively, and I can't find this reoccurring menace.

When something happens once, you can overlook, but when it becomes consistent with loss of lives, one has to very critical.

One thing I know, we pay zero attention to safety in Nigeria. These tankers are carrying very volatile products and should be subject to routine checks.

How are these tankers built? Are there compartments inside tankers to reduce volatility? Do drivers undergo routine checks for leaks or cracks?

Tankers are high risk vehicles, and should be subjected to very very strict regulations before they hit the road.

my 2 cent sha.

You should ask what has happened to our pipelines that tankers become the only means of conveying petroleum products? Our people vandalised everything and put everyone in danger of coming into contact with tankers everyday.

It hurt to witness Saudi Arabia embracing western culture, seemingly deviating from the teachings of prophet.

The opening of alcohol store in Riyadh's diplomatic quarter raises concerns about the erosion of our Islamic values.
We should reflect on the words of the Prophet Muhammad, who prophesied the widespread consumption of alcohol as a sign of Qiyamah.

Let us strive to uphold our faith and traditions amidst the changing times, mindful of the warnings about the generations to come being worse than our own.
