Biblically he did those miracles and he also was hungry those two times i mentioned. In your stated miracles in Matthew, Jesus's disciples had those little loaves and Fish! But it was clear they were poor to feed the crowd on their own without miracles! And Jesus already said by himself he can do nothing! So his miracles were from God not him!

And i wonder why Jesus didn't tell the fig tree to grow fruits for him to eat instead of cursing it to death?

And why were the disciples eating grains on the field in the same Matthew? He could have multiplied bread and fish for them too you know!

In Matthew 14: 14-21, Jesus fed over 5000 people and the hand left overs.
In Matthew 15:32-37, Jesus fed over 4000 men and they had left overs.

When Jesus need money, he asked Peter to catch a fish from the river and get money from the mouth.

Matthew 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Now, do you consider this person who could provide food for thousands of people, get money from the mouth of the fish, perform all kinds of miracles without limit a poor person?

Hello nairalanders I know to a lot of Nigerians who have never left the country this may sound funny. But I'm indeed frustrated with my life in America. I moved to America as a student in 2016 for masters in an engineering degree and after about 7 years I obtained a U.S Greencard. I work a middle income job with the government and I'm here with my Nigerian wife. I have faced a series of health challenges since I got here and some have been resolved and some additionally ones have cropped in with the latest being depression and extreme fatigue. Currently I'm on antidepressants but I'm still depressed and frustrated. My job is not that taxing but I wish I could do more save for the extreme fatigue that the doctors have not been able to resolve. I wish I could hustle harder but my health is not allowing me to. I feel also very sad and lonely living in the U.S as it's only me and my wife and I dont really have any friends. Everyone here always mind their business and its tough building any meaningful relationships. I have toyed with the idea of moving back to Nigeria in my head since America has not been all I hoped it will be for me but my wife does not want to and she quickly reminds me of the employment suitation in Nigeria and how it is me that made her come here in the first place. She kind of prefers it here. We have no kids yet so that is one additional information. I'm just venting and frustrated and I hope maybe some Nairalanders can come to my aid. Additional information. I dont come from a rich family that has money sitting in the bank and its me and my own. We just bought a house on a 30 year mortgage so we pretty stuck with paying the debt for 30 years but I don't know how I'd live here for 30 years. Just looking for someone with experience to share ideas with since I have no one. I feel stuck. Please no insults

Why did America not fight for Ukraine to win the war against Russia? Israel has won wars fought against 5 Arab nations. They thought they will be able to wipe out Israel from that region within 6 days, but instead it went to other way. Was it Americans that helped them. Even most Arabs acknowledged that it could only be divine intervention such thing could happen.

Israel of the Bible is the same Israel of today. Israel had been dispersed many times from their land. Your problem is that whenever they return home, the enemies label them as fake Israelis. The same way God fought for them in the Bible is still the same way God is fighting for them today. Hmmm. I have seen many who were committed to a spiritual journey. Just like an airplane taking off and then flying steady. Then suddenly, it starts to descend until it gets to the ground. When it tries to pick up again, it struggles. It will fly a bit and then fall back down.
This is the story of many Christians and I am not excluded. I used to be a flying spiritual giant. By the Grace of God I am picking up again.
When the devil reminds you that you don't have money. You are praying instead of working hard. When you get a job, the devil makes sure the job you get is the one that takes most of your time and energy. You then stop praying at night because you are tired. After this, old sins resurfaces. This drains you further spiritually. You begin to experience doubts, anxieties and worries.
When you try to pray and study the bible, you sleep off. Material things now makes more sense to you then spiritual things because most of your desires are now physical things.
This is how it is.. You must be clear on your mission before you start your spiritual journey.. You must decide that you are not going back no matter what. And this must be your every day resolve, prayer and desire..
The devil is always roaming around you.. you must be ready to resist him always.
