Lol. Thanks. You really think I should go on?

I have a feeling you really want to do this and only need a few posts that will encourage you to do so.

If my post will make any difference, I'll advise you to waive this crazy thought. How can you not feel horrible about this thought ? You mean you don't mind sleeping with her once or more till she conceives while in her husband's house?

Just put yourself in the husband shoes for 5secs and tell me if you'd want to be a victim of such deceit and betrayal.

If she were to be single and just needs a sperm donor to have her kids, then it would have been a different ball game, but sexing a married woman to make a baby, and then you watch her take the your own child into another man's home. Haba, bro, that's just wicked on the part of you both. I beg you, drop that thought.

Ps- what makes you certain that you can father kids with her. Better let her bear her cross and sort things out with her hubby. There are no advantages here. The short and long term repercussions are better not experienced.

Celebrities / Re: Ini Edo Tweets About Her Crashed Marriage by thandii1: 9:35pm On Oct 02, 2014
I don't even understand those crucifying her for using the phrase irreconcilable differences. If the differences could be reconciled, would she have asked for a divorce? Did you really expect her to start stating why the marriage can no longer work? And bare it all out for ill-mannered people to twist events and curse her out.

She has come out to confirm the claims in blogs and different anonymous sources. The least we can do is to respect her choice. She is not and definitely be the last to ask for a divorce.

I don't know why people just like to laugh at other people's trying situations, especially celebrities. I have noticed some just get unnecessary excited reading about the unfortunate situations of celebrities like their own lives are perfect. They start saying things they have absolutely no idea of.

It is really hard being a celebrity. Funke akindele, monalisa, kate, ibinabo, doris all got over it, it is only a matter of months fo ini too.

logicboy01:

It is good that we are seeing the bad side of polygamy. People are giving their testimonies.

I wonder how any young man or woman of this generation (20- 35 years) who is educated and stable can look at polygamy and see it as a wise choice.

We know that muslims and traditionalists are here to defend their inferior ideologies.

Sha the truth is coming out.

I do not support polygamy, neither am I against it as long as all the parties involved do not have issues with it. What I just find interesting about this post of yours is that you want to believe there's no happy polygamous home and choose to ignore the testimonies of those who have had good ones to focus only on those who have experienced bad ones. Remember the purpose of the thread is not about condemning polygamy, or tell which ideology is inferior, you can start another thread for that debate. we all can argue from now till eternity, but it will not stop polygamy as many women still willingly accept to marry other women's husbands irrespective of their religion or cultural beliefs.

The only polygamy close to me (apart from that of my grandparents which I don't care about) is that of a distant aunt who is a christian, she divorced her first husband with 2kids and willingly agreed to be a second wife to a man who was having child bearing issues with his wife. The wife was not aware till my aunt's edd was close. Did I hate my aunt for ruining another woman's happiness, yes, but if she didn't, another woman would have glady accepted.

At the end of the day, the fault of polygamy rests on we women's shoulders because we encourage it. If women detest polygamy so much, we wouldn't have hundreds of women happy to be side chics , baby mamas and second wives to married men, thereby hurting women like them. We can only speak for ourselves

The party that deserves the 'pity' is the first wife for the betrayal in a situation where she didn't sign up for it(religion or what what) but at the end of the day, she also has a choice to stay or not.

That being said, Op, I m still hoping you'd come back.

GodsDivinefavor: Am trying hard not to allow these affect me at work. That accounts for my delay on the thread.

Let me also appreciate everyone for the concern, advise and encouragement.

And for the mature contribution from young and old to serve as learnings for all.

And also add that "purging" myself have really relieved me and lift up my spirit, I pray for his grace to continue on these lane.

I really don't want to hold any grudge against my husband, and want my kids to grow loving him as a father no matter what.

My eldest child is 6+, 2 girls and a boy all of whom I want them to enjoy growing up in the presence of their father....sincerely his such a wonderful man only God knows what kind of test is these.

I just hope I make it through.

Seriously, if someone or a sooth sayer told me I will be these calm...hmmm
I know myself, I know the thoughts that have gone through my mind withing these period...

I choose NL cause its a faceless forum, confiding in friends migth have aggravate the episodes or maybe I might be behind bars now.

But in all, I am indebted to my mum who unfortunately died in the midst of all these and she made me promise not act funny.

My elder ones too intervened but really it is like dreaming and hoping it won't come to pass, have come to realise no one is strong until life shows you the other side. Most especially when you least expect it.

The words in bolded got to me and I understand where you are coming from. Like most people in here, I'm certain at one point, you would have said 'God forbid polygamy', you'd rather move out, or send him to jail and so on, but reading through your posts, I realise it is actually easier said than done. The first thing that came to my mind was to come and condemn your situation and blame your hubby and join the pros and cons debate, but of what use is all of that to you. Will they change the situation? Make you feel better or make you feel stupiid for not taking actions against the father of your children(nothing will ever change that fact). The aim of the thread is to seek for encouragement, strength, wisdom, advice especially from people who have walked in the shoes, unfortunately, many of us in here have not, both the pro and anti, which makes it very difficult to actually take the comments in here very seriously.

You have 3kids already, all young and the best you can do is to weigh your options carefully and wisely and see what will give you peace of mind. We will all come here to type our opinions from our own little world, but only you know where it pinches.

It is also easier for your mum to pacify you because in a way, she did exactly what someone is about to do to you, so yeh, she'd be like if some could accept her, there's nothing wrong in you accepting too. I would like you to remember that you will not live your life for your mum. You don't necessarily have to do what she says, because you'll be the one to bear it all(the good, bad and ugly) so just search within yourself, take your time. And do what you feel is best for you and your kids.

I am not in your shoes but I do feel for you, I truly do.. reading through your posts, I just kept imagining myself in them, but hey, its only better imagined. I wish you God's strength, and wisdom to pull through whatever decision you make. Cheers

GodsDivinefavor: By "Everything Polygamy" i mean if you are a polygamist, intending polygamist, wife in a polygamous marriage and but not limited to offsprings of polygamous homes.

come in and lets share ideas and experiences, am a product of polygamous home and know a little having also married into one too.

Lets educate ourselves
.

Would have been an educating read.
And I hope you come back to the thread

I remember your thread sometime ago about hubby sleeping alone and you were bothered cos you love cuddling, you were advised to accept him for who he is etc. What was the cause of him sleeping alone then? Guilt of facing you to tell you about the other woman? Did he inform you about this new woman himself or he called family members to do the talk. I'm yet to read you answer the question some have been asking which what were his reasons for deciding to bring in another woman. Also, why is he imposing living together on you, cos you earlier said that it is what he wants. I believe you should at least have a say over that.

To show she's from a good and God fearing family, the epitom of good wife not animal like the foolish husband, wouldn't have been diff and nice?
Virtuous woman doesn't compete with her husband rather she covers his unclothedness cuz some men are mad. Is obvious they were not in good term if not she would have ask why the man not wearing his ring.

cheesy cheesy cheesy

@ topic, I want to believe the husband did not give a genuine reason for not using his ring. If he falls into the category of men who do not like any piece of jewellery on them and the wife is also very aware, I'm sure she wouldn't have minded. But with this reaction of hers, I think she just wasn't satisfied with his excuse.

Btw, its funny reading 'a good wife should do this, a virtuous woman shouldn't do that, a woman should keep the home, the Bible says this ,etc etc. What should a man do biko? He should just keep misbehaving while the woman submits to misbehaviour as if a home is made by only one person. A good Marriage is the hardwork of 2 people, not just one person. Lead badly, get followed badly.

Why would MTN place him on probation if not for him having the lowest votes.
It shows and proves that the process isn't fair as claimed.

No doubting, Geoffrey is the best but he DIDN'T have the highest number of votes.

You can not be so sure about this. Voting patterns have always changed for some contestants week in week out. I wonder why you are trying so hard to prove there was manipulation in the votes just because geoffery was once on probation. Geoffery being on probation could have been a wake up call for his fans, same way christian's fans went hard to make sure they guy won something. We all know how he was always on probation, while Clement wasn't, yet he beat clement and emeka who were hardly on probation.
So many things could have altered the voting patterns, their personal compositions could have been the game changer, their fans' determination, anything could.

If you admit he's the best this season why are you bent telling us he didn't have the highest votes.

I'm so glad geoffery won!! Well deserved mehn. The top four deserved it I must say. Been expecting this spoiler, the winner is always known before they eventually air it since it is a recorded show nl helps the spoiling because they always post it on front page.

Christian fans really tried for him.

Emeka fans are all mouth o. Who could have thought he was gonna go home empty handed. Poor boy, he must have been convinced with all the shouts and audience screams, he'd at least get something.

I'm just glad geoffery won.
