I've being battling depression for quite a long time now, and I must confess, it hasn't being easy on me.

To me, Depression is a state of Hopelessness.

I experience Mood Swings a lot. One time I'm happy and feeling hopeful, and the next minute, I go back to my shell feeling lost, anxious, hopeless and drained. I have more sad times than happy times. For many years now, I've not been happy for a complete day. My happiness is just for a fleeting moment.
I barely sleep at night. I go to bed very late, lay on the bed for hours, try to force myself to sleep off, but it's difficult. Then before daybreak, I'm up again. I'm always aware of whatever happens at night.
I easily get irritated by people. I hate to be provoked. I'm a very calm person, but I tend to overract when I'm slightly provoked. I don't have patience.
I keep to myself. I don't socialise. I hate crowd. I just go to work and come back. On weekends, I can stay indoors for two days without talking to a neighbour.
If I hear a knock on my door, my heart jumps, even a call or text on my phone gets me anxious.
I also find it concentrating. I'm always over thinking. Last week I came out of my room forgetting that I was naked.

I'm having constant headaches which makes me physically weak. Sometimes, I become apprehensive too.

I can't share my challenges with anybody for fear of being locked and taken advantage of, that's why I'm bringing it here. Sometimes, I feel I'm no longer alive.

I care for people a lot, but same people betray me when it's time to reciprocate. Now I dislike people because I see them trying to exploit my weakness.
I don't have family, I don't have friends. If I'm fall sick today, I'm calling on nobody. Because of this, I try to be careful with my life.

Dear OP @Stephen0mozzy and @kobojunkie have said it the way it is, and I believe you know that. Bro, double your hussle and give as much as you can to that woman and the kid to stay fine. What you have their is an housewife, some may call such full housewife. It's luxurious and good if you can maintain such. She cooks, clean, takes good care of the home and the children. That's her job, and it's yours to go out and get the money. Settle with this and there will be lasting peace in that home.
