@moondust I am just curious, do you know any Ikenna or any Dika? cos ur work looks like something I av seen somewhere. Especially the Indomitables. I really like it. You are something else. |
yeah, I did watch samurai x. At one time it was ma best cartoon. I'll sure like to lay my hands on the complete episodes. Please, if anybody here has it please do share. |
Seun, how dare u even say something like dat ![]() Please! please!! please!!! Dont do it Hey! I cant believe it I am begging. ok, seriously, Seun don't take this section out. A lot of us love Nairaland cos of this section I'll start posting threads from 2morrow.matter of fact I'll do it right away |
Ronke 2811:hey u are kinda person I am sure we can become friends cos Soul winning, cooking and listening to music forms the core of what I love doing. I also love photography with a passion. |
@viee where did u serve? |
like u r enjoying yours. C'mon give me a break. |
yeah 15k a month is really mean considering the present economic situation. but you have to agree with me that the employer has a right to state the salary he wants to offer and you have the right to either accept or turn it down. One of the biggest problems of the Nigerian Educational System is the mentality they inculcate in us while we are at school. you are told to do well so that you can get a good job. Nobody tells you to do well so that you can own your own business. it is very pathetic. There are so many intelligent young people roaming the streets look for jobs when they could have been doing something else. It is all as a result of the orientation that we are being given. ![]() |
chessito:@Chessito Do you have to put ur finger into fire to know that it burns. Men! u r so lame! ![]() |
pek:hey I must say that I am happy for u. I am not against service. no far be it from me. but I still maintain that it is a waste of time. It is true that people from the south-western part of the country do not travel out of their vicinity and it is very bad. It reflects in the way they relate to people from other parts of the country. |
@Samsilo who is talking about selfish interests. please! ![]() |
@Chessito U r entitled to your opinion. For ur information I did not serve cos I did not see the purpose for it. It'll be a complete waste of my time. Besides I hav a business to run. I hav been to many remote places in Nigeria and I did not need the NYSC programme to do that. I feel sorry for someone who needs the Government to do something as fundamental as travelling to other places to meet different cultures. |
chessito:so u believe one has to live in the village to be a complete human being. My God! u are very shallow. How ccan u say something like that. ![]() samsilo:I live in Ph and I am not ignorant. I travel a lot and I still intend to travel some more. because that is how we learn. I did not need the NYSC to travel to the places I travelled to. Please if u do not know what to say stay off this thread. |
chinnys:I dont think anybody needs the NYSC programme to know that life is difficult or the fact that there are people living in very severe conditions in this Nigeria. I think there must be something wrong with someone who is depending on this programme to be weaned from their parents. Immediately I finished school I started working on my dream. I registered my own company and started moving. Life here on earth is too short for us to waste a whole year. If u have a dream then you will know that the whole NYSC thing is a complete waste of time. For those of you supporting this whole scam please tell me what you have learnt that has made a positive impact in your life? you dont need NYSC to mix with people of a different background. U dont need it to go to the Northern part of the country or to visit a remote village in the east. You can do all these things by yourself. If you have to wait for NYSC to do all of that then there is something wrong with you. You are obviously not ready for life. |
I-man:Really tell me about it. who were u serving the Nigeria or the British Government. Finally sha I dey enjoy your style. ![]() |
smile4kenn:Are you high? |
yeah yeah A.C. milan won. serves Liverpool right. ![]() |
I decided that I wont have anything to do with the whole thing but I got people who keep harassing me and saying that it important for me do go through the program. I dont think there is anything to gain from the present arrangement. the government dont exactly care about the Nigerian young people that is why they claim to spend about 1 million on each youth corper yet we dont see the benefit in the lives of these young people. I know that the orginators of the program had good intentions but the fact is the whole thing is messed up. I dont think I want to be a part of a messed up project and I wouldn't want anybody close to me to be a part of it either. So I maintain that the project should be scraped. ![]() |
I have read a lot of their books but my best is definitely 7 habits of highly effective people. John C. Maxwell is an authority in leadership but none of his books is as good as 7 Habits of highly Effective People. ![]() |
yep! I love cartoons. i'll continue to watch cartoons until I'm like a hundred yrs old. Ninja scrol is definitely cool. even with all the blood and gore. personally I think the Japanese cartoons are the best. I also like some of the soft ones like Johnny Bravo. the guy is totally stoopid. |
Why does anybody have to go through the NYSC program. I believe it is only a ploy to waste the precious time of young and able bodied Nigerian graduates. The government should do something about it. Please Nairalanders tell me what you think about it. |
How did I spend my weekend? Now let's see, I read a book, watched some movies and entertained some friends. the weekend was kinda quiet. but I pretty much enjoyed it. ![]() |
