Puleeeze! I did all these and more still my fiancee left me barely 4 months to our wedding. Listen, it takes a lot more than being nice to keep a woman. The truth is that a lot of women dont even know what they want. I heard of a woman who wanted to divorce her husband just because he was too nice and it was scary to her.
All I can say is for you to pray you meet the right person who will see the best in you, believe in you and stay with you through thick and thin.

@All, I appreciate all your comments, well I cant say I know what caused this. Well she did show some funny signs some months ago, but I dismissed it as cold feet. I have tried to ask her why she did this to me, but she has offered is that she doesnt love me and she doesnt want to continue with the relationship. I told my mum about it and she is so disturbed about it. Everyone in my family really liked her all my friends liked her and to top it off I loved her too much (maybe I still do). Thanks, I am trying to forget her, but to be frank it is so frigging hard. We were so close, she was my best friend, sister and lover. I built my world around her. I think it was a good move by Goodluck to move the man to another ministry instead of sacking him.It is very humiliating, but the man himself has no honor at all. He was asked to resign but instead he prefers a demotion. It shows how dumb some of our leaders are.

Well I have seen so many posts on this thread, some intelligent and some others are well, Let me start like this, those who want to talk about this particular verse should ensure they read the whole thing and get the message clearly.
Ephesians 5:22-25 Starts by telling wives to submit to their as unto the Lord. This means a wife MUST submit to the husband as if he (the husband) was the Lord. She (the wife) is asked to submit because the man is the head of the home. However, the man is asked to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. What did Christ do for the church? He gave himself for her (the church) without reservation he was willing to die for her. Mind you He (Christ) did this before anyone ever submitted to Him. This is what a husband must do. He must be willing to put her (his wife) first in all things.
The subject of marriage is one that is grossly misunderstood. This is the reason why the divorce rate is going up everyday in Nigeria. When a man loves his wife he wont abuse her either verbally, emotionally or physically. When a man loves his wife he will be faithful to her no matter what the condition is. He will not put his mother or family before her.
In the same vein, the question of a wife submitting to her husband is not conditional. As a matter of fact none of the instruction in the scripture we are using as a reference is a suggestion. They are profound instructions and anyone who wants to have a successful marriage will gladly obey them. I want to conclude by saying that if you are not ready to play your role as stated in the Ephesians 5:22-25 either as a man or woman then you are not ready to get married cos you will definitely make a mess of your marriage when you get into it.

Hate to say I told y'all so but told ya. NYSC should be scrapped. Can you Imagine they have just introduced a quota system because the government can not cope with the increasing number of graduates. Look the program is already outdated and serving no purpose so what is the point. A lot of young and productive Nigerians are wasting valuable time sitting in one place because nobody would employ them without the NYSC certificate. The whole situation is a lot uglier than u think it is. For all you people who still believe the program should I wish y'all the best but I feel kinda sorry for you if u have to depend on something as irrelevant as that to determine the cause of your life. I have made my choice and it certainly aint got nothing to do with NYSC.

Check this out: the govt claim tha they spend approximately one million on each youth corper for their service year. imagine what will happen to the economy if this money is used to give these young people 2 months training program on Leadership, Enterpreneurship and self development.
