lawanson44: Madam please shaaaaraaaaap! If you mean what you say, then ask your husband to jail Yerima and all those northern alhajis who have young girls in their custody in the name of marraige! Errr, in case you are living under a rock, Buhari is not yet Nigeria's president and can't jail anyone quite yet. Besides our constitution is not unequivocally clear on underage marriage and penal codes for such. |

Fashion › Anybody Know How To Dye Clothes? by thebigspock(op): 12:21pm On Apr 09, 2015 |
So i have a pair of pants I really love but have gone a bit faded so i've decided to dye them. I went out and got dye supplies with instructions but unfortunately, i've misplaced the instructions sheet. Now i'm left with a bunch of powders i don't know how to use. There are two white ones (one's like powder and the other is like sugar) and one black powdery one. Please does anybody have any idea how i can use these? |

khiaa: I don't get it, shouldn't the son be getting married at that age also? If the daughter is being pushed out of the house for marriage it is logical that the son would be also.
My mom wouldn't know, I am from a differen't country, continent, culture. believe me, this is a big issue. I know how much pressure my sister was under till she finally got married. from the moment she turned twenty two, the marriage warning bells had started to ring in her ears - mainly from my mother: my dad was mostly indifferent. any guy that comes around to ask for her and prayers would be said for him to be the right one - family prayers led by my mom, not a private prayer. at one point, my sister got frustrated because mum was pressuring her into staying with someone she wasn't comfortable around just so she could get married. fortunately, that didn't work out and my sister eventually married someone she loved. huge sigh of relief on all sides. |

and @ the guy who thinks he's gay because he's rich.... I don't want you to be gay. So I proclaim poverty into your life so you can remain straight and secure from the "gayifying" power of money. |

Funny how a lot of Nigerians can be so predictably hypocritical! Ahhhh!!!! So because you guys saw that he is gay on his post, most of you totally bypassed the entire point of it to tell him he's going to hell. Una try o!
The funny thing about all this tho is amongst these "kingdom warriors" on this thread are people that have sex with minors, fraudsters, thieves and people that commit other acts that are not just immoral, but criminal. But once they see the word "gay", all of them become Pontifex Maximus.

herald9: Depends on your O level subject combination.. Seems Mass com requires Literature in art which I'm sure you didn't offer...so that one is crossed...
If Government and Economics are in your O level...it'll be much easier to switch to art I only have economics...not government... |
Education › Can A Science Student Study Arts Courses? by thebigspock(op): 10:52am On Dec 08, 2014 |
I need an urgent answer to this question. I was a science student in secondary school - mainly under pressure from my parents. I've tried getting admission to study engineering for a few years without success and they seem to have realized i'm not really that science inclined so now they are a bit more open to me studying arts course. I think I would like to study English or Mass Communication(s?). My question though is if it's possible to do that on my current WAEC and NECO results which have science subjects. I cleared all my papers though so as far as having the minimum required five credits especially in English and Mathematics go, i'm covered.
So can I get a UTME form for either of these courses or do I have to write WAEC again? |
