How does that work, is there a long stay visit visa asides from with a spouse

Hi all, want to invite my mum to SA for 3 months towards end of the year. How best to go, evisa or sticker ?
She visited last year twice both stickers & evisa spent 30 days each. I’m looking towards her staying 3 months at stretch maybe, whats the best way, long stay?

Yes, you are right.
I am a permanent resident in SA, but my family is in Nigeria. My initial address was changed from SA to Nigeria after EB2 NIW approval due to the challenge of applying Visa for my family.
Most people who applied from SA have gotten their Visa and are now in the US. The process seems to be faster in SA.

Yes in SA once your PD is current, within 3 months you get IL. You could have just left the address in SA, then your family will follow to join.

For all employment-based preference categories, you must use the Dates for Filing chart in the Department of State Visa Bulletin for October 2023.

New FY & Eb2 only moved 8 days ?
Save to say if your PD is within first quarter of 2023, you may only get IVP FY25.

There is no eye-button close to the adjudication outcome received. There is actually a link 'view supporting documents/payment/letter'. When i clicked, i only have the letter requesting for documents when i completed the application then. it has a downloadable eye button in front of it. No other letter.

The eVisa letter or eye button is not on my dashboard.

I do not know what to do next.

See the eye botton close to the outcome is what you click & it download your visa. I recommend using Google chrome.

Hi, I applied for SA visiting eVisa via dha site on 3rd May.... got a 3D secure card to make payment...received an email alert to check my correspondence yesterday. I noticed eVisa outcome ticked as complete while the progress status shows Adjudication outcome received. However, I did not receive any letter or eVisa.

In case you have directly used the dha site to apply for SA eVisa, do you know what could have happened or am i to wait for some days before the eVisa is sent?

I don't know how to proceed from here. Kindly guide. Many thanks

On thé portal close to the adjudication outcome received. You will see a eye botton, click it & it will download your evisa (pdf)

If on a tight budget use “gumtree”, you can get single room accommodation (or flat share) or you can try Property24. But once you contact the landlord or agent for view, go with colleagues that are familiar with the area.

You may not change status from visit/tourist visa within the Republic, you have to return to your Republic to do that.

Can someone put me through how to get SA police clearance (Police report) I am back in Nigeria already but I need the Police report for an application. I have tried checking through their website but the website isn't working. Anyone with useful information should please assist . Thank you

Send your passport or ID page together with the fingerprint from Alagbon police station to a friend that resides in SA (hardcopy via fedx dhl etc).

The friend then take this to a police station in SA on your behalf to apply. It might take 8 weeks or longer. All the best.
