A big selection headache for Conte. Pedro or Willian? Giroud or Morata? Who to play to support Kante in a 3man or 2man midfield? Should he play Alonso just coming back from injury or play Zappacosta/Emerson on Lwb?

Pedro work rate can trouble barca defense and we also need Willian brilliance.

Giroud? cos we need a forward on his feet & not falling down always or losing chances.

Am I the only one that noticed Emerson would make a better LWB than Alonso?

Quicker, better & trickier on the ball than Alonso. That's the kind of competition we need. But let's see how he performs in subsequent games.

We need to reduce the midfield dominance of Barca. David Luiz to support Alonso along the left with Dwater supporting Moses. I don't think a 2man midfield of Kante-Drinkwater is strong enough against Barca.

The plan is to hit them on the counter. We can't win the forward battle unless we lie to ourselves. On counter, either Moses-Alonso support the front 2 or Drinkwater-Luiz. Wait for them to lose the ball and hit them on the counter with Hazard/Giroud.
