Ake should be brought back as DM or LB. He is too small for CB, although with Sarri system where CBs are supposed to be passers first, that may not matter.

Can’t he play RB? Emerson should be our tactical LB we know. Azp is good defensively though but forward movement is lacking.

Doesn’t matter. With only Kante Jorginho & Barkley fit in the midfield trio, the next in line is Ampadu.

I expect Sarri to twerk the formation, whatever way it’s Ampadu will get some game time.

We need backup for the Jorginho role asap as Fabregas is out. We can’t use Kantè as he’s in our first 11 & he’s not Sarri preference at middle.
