They keep preaching they want the best for Nigeria, and that we should vote in the best candidate, yet they have information about these candidates that can aid the masses to make an informed decision. Why haven't they willingly released the facts or set the record straight. they rather watch us bicker amongst ourselves and have to listen to spokesmen spew incoherent lies on behalf of their candidates.
The notion that obidients are naïve to politics is very true, even though the messengers of this gospel are the evil doers in Nigeria, their message is true. The Western nations and powers that be love the realities of poverty, corruption, ineptitude and backwardness of Nigeria. The African image they love to promote, is the one of suffering, starving children needing aid from western powers. Any African nation that wants to break away from that narrative will be fought to a finish, with their media branding the leaders there as corrupt and dictators. some African nations have been able to achieve that though, however such would not be granted to the giant of Africa. People do not realize that the success of Nigeria would have a great impact on not just Nigerians or African globally and on the continent, but to every black person starting from the Americas all the way down to Asia. Nigeria has to be on his knees, ruled by leaders with foreign and local backing, who will do the biddings of their backers.
Peter Obi represents everything that is against the natural order for Nigerian politics, Peter Obi has the Nigerian people as his backers, peter obi will be answerable to only the Nigerian people, how do you expect the backers (Nigerian and Foreigners) to feel, when the bottle is about to be taken from their mouths. they will fight you with all they have and it is possible they could do this even to the detriment of the future existence of the nation.
Even if Peter Obi wins (which will be miraculous), his government will be the most persecuted presidency the nation has ever known. they will do everything within their power to ensure that. Nigeria is a nation held down by Nigerians, with the support of global powers. The United States government has said, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate in the coming General elections in Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was neither involved nor convicted for criminal drug dealing in the US, falsifying reports amplified by his political opponents who are recycling an unsuccessful suit in which the former Lagos Governor was cleared of all charges.
The US offered the clarification while responding to a petition filed sometime, seeking details about the failed suit brought against Tinubu over unsubstantiated allegations of drug dealing and purported questionable financial transactions in the country.
In its response signed by Micheal H. Bonner, the Legal Officer of the Consulate Office in Nigeria, the US said “a records check of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) National Crime Information Centre (NCIC) was conducted” and “the results of the checks were negative for any criminal arrest records, wants, or warrants for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
The response, which re-emphasized the acquittal of Tinubu of all charges by the court, poured cold water on the propagandist efforts of his political opponents who are portraying old court papers, which merely detailed the unfounded and never substantiated allegations, as new and recent facts.
According to a legal expert who described the situation as “a misleading attempt to bend the facts of a simple legal matter in order to gain a political advantage.
“Tinubu has committed no crime. He is not guilty of anything. That is the position of the law and the verdict of the court and other investigative bodies after examining the allegations.
“The suit papers some are bandying around are irrelevant because they said things that were never proven. It is nothing but an attempt to exploit the public’s ignorance of legal matters and dent the image of a political opponent”, he said.
It would be recalled that individuals and social media accounts re-circulating the dated and already publicly available documents of the suit bearing the unsubstantiated allegations revealed that they were all surrogates of the opposition parties challenging what many perceive to be Tinubu’s procession to the presidency based on his established popularity and broad acceptance
