You can never and will never understand
But yoruba Mozulem 🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖s mentioned that a cybercafé can also be a third party. Do I go to print my medical license from that cybercafé in my masalashi? 🙄

Master strategist you really disappointed your local government sha.

You mean you can not use the money inside the bullion vans that mistakenly entered your compound to build an NUC accredited university for yourself that will give you original certificate.

Even Davido is a graduate of music and even has pictures of himself inside Orientation Camp.

Please we should all come out and shut down Nigeria like the way we did in 2012
The funny thing is that Jonathan 2012 didn't bring much suffering to us yet we united and shut down Nigeria

What is now happening that we can no longer shut down Nigeria

It is now obvious tribalism is what is ruining us

It means the masses can not unite to protest against a president from any of the three major tribe( igbo, hausa and yorubas)

It seems we can only unite to protest against a president only if that president is from minority or rather from south south

During the endsar protest. The north didn't join because it was seen as a fight against thier son( buhari)

Even look at nairaland that promoted the protest in 2012
Now they kept mute

Look at our celebrities

What is happening in this country

Please we all should come out.
Where is wole sonyinka? Where is adeboye? Where is our lagos celebrities?
Enough of this tribalism. Enough of this sentiments
Lol… I bet the OP is a yoruba Mozulem 🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖

Politics / Re: As Tinubu Awaits His Global Disgrace, What Do You Want For Nigeria? by TheEndless: 2:08pm On Sep 26, 2023
Penguin2:
“Come let’s have a conversation” - Isaiah 1 v 18.

Come let’s have a conversation as Nigerians.

Let’s forget, for a moment, that we are from the North, the South, the West or East.

Let’s also forget, for a moment, that we are apologetic to APC, PDP or LP. Or maybe NNPP or BOOT Party. All join.

Irrespective of your creed, there’s a sincere question that you need to search your heart and answer. That question is, “what do you want for Nigeria?”

Do you want a Nigeria where there’s rule of law, or a Nigeria that is a lawless country?

Do you want Nigeria built on merit or you want a Nigeria built on mafian system of Might is Right?

Do you want a Nigeria where it would be valuable for a child to grow up and keep his record clean through Primary, Secondary schools and University or you want a Nigeria where a tout can wake up one day and go to buy doctorate degree from any university and use it to get same privilege as those who spent years reading and labouring for that same degree?

Do you want a Nigeria where integrity and honesty pays, or you want a Nigeria built on lies? Somebody can come to borrow money from you and deny it tomorrow. And when you go to court, court will say he’s not guilty because the signatures on your agreement document was signed with blue pen instead of red pen. Is that the Nigeria you want?

Do you want a Nigeria where the common man can approach the Judiciary with confidence of getting justice when oppressed by the rich, or you want a Nigeria where it would be normal for the rich or the connected or the privileged to buy judgments from courts even against reason and facts?

Come let’s have a conversation.

Do you support the barbarity that is going on now because it favours your divide?

Do you know that tomorrow you could be on the opposite side of what you are supporting now, and by then, you will become the victim of what you helped enthrone because by then, the precedent shall have been established; through your support.

Come Let’s have a conversation.

Are you happy with PEPT judgment?

The judges ruled that INEC had powers to choose how to collate votes.

But isn’t that what INEC did? They have the power to choose how to collate votes and they chose to transmit votes electronically in real time.

You heard them say it. I heard them say it too. Every Nigerian and even non-Nigerians heard them say it.

Then on Election Day, INEC now picked and chose which of the election results to transmit and which not to, in clear breach of their own guideline which they drew up in exercising their power to choose how to collate votes.

Now, we go to court, and court says INEC was right to say one thing in the morning and do another thing by noonday. Is that the Nigeria you want?

You want a Nigeria where institutions cannot be trusted? Where they can engage in all forms of rascality and the courts will affirm it on the basis unreasonable technicalities and ambiguous legal clauses?

You celebrate it today because it favours your divide. Tomorrow you might be on the opposite divide.

Come let’s have a conversation.

What kind of Nigeria do wanna spend your old age in?

What kind of Nigeria do you want to leave for your Children?

What kind of Nigeria do you want your Children’s Children to be born into?

What’s the image you want Nigeria to have amongst comity of nations?

What do you really want for Nigeria?

Look beyond 4/8 years.

Look beyond Tinubu.

Look at Nigeria beyond these guys.

What’s your dream/wish for her?
My only annoyance is this olosho I carried last night. I nor see her face well 😔

Politics / The Middle Man Politics by TheEndless: 5:10pm On Sep 23, 2023
If you go to Balogun market, Lagos Island, right now, you will meet boys volunteering to take you to the best place to buy your clothes. If you were a novice, you’d tag along and be thankful for the kind gesture.

What you don’t know is that these boys have established business relationships as middle-men for the owners of those shops. Their job is to get potential customers in exchange for commission.

They also get a few naira notes as ‘thank you’ from the customers they have ‘helped’.

This system is called Oso-Ahia. [The middle-man hustle]

Political economists have designed the supply and demand framework to explain how government works. The office of the citizen which is touted as the highest office in a democracy makes a demand of good governance. Thus, it is the job of the elected to supply it.

However, I find that the suppliers maneuver the choice of demand to suit the inventory that they are willing to offer. Consequently, this is where the middle-man comes in. And do they do a fine job!

President Jonathan could not win his second tenure because Nigerians voted for Buhari. The veil of what transpired only started to fall off after President Buhari plunged Nigeria’s economy. In fact, recent statement made by fmr. Gov. Kayode Fayemi points to the fact that Nigerians were deceived into rejecting Goodluck Jonathan at the 2015 polls.

News of insecurity happening in the North was amplified. The 2012 mass protests, led by actors, influencers and people who hitherto hadn’t commented on Nigeria’s political situation was the climax. The PR was turbo-charged against fuel subsidy and the economy. Even though, Nigeria’s GDP grew by over 7% during the time- the best we have witnessed till date. Yet, even the educated were swayed and deceived by these PR stunts.

There was a machinery influencing public opinion. Backed by fat accounts, they leveraged the media, rallied protesters, amplified bad news and pumped lies in the faces of Nigerians.

This is the job of the middle-man. The most dangerous chain in the political-economic framework of a democracy.

Red Media shipped a strategy called ‘Reputation Management’ to pacify Nigerians into believing that a military dictator was reformed and what Nigeria needed was a strict disciplinarian who would tackle corruption. It worked. Even educated Nigerians forgot that Nigeria in Buhari’s military regime of ‘84/85, faced the worst economic downturn.

This time, with a fraudulent election and unjust judgment delivery by PEPT, the Oso–Ahia business is to influence Nigerians to ‘move on’, ‘appeal the judgement at the Supreme Court’, ‘prepare for 2027 elections’. They perfectly do the mind bending work of turning the minds of Nigerians against protests. They claim there are better strategies than protests. Strategies that haven’t worked for 63 years now.

They run justifications for Nigerians who choose to work directly with a President from a fraudulent election as being ‘pragmatic’. That the only way to achieve success in sub-sectors is to ‘pretend’ to kiss the ring. And that people should ‘put the interest of Nigeria above emotional sentiments’.

Only that this is false as usual. That people who compromise on character, truth and principle do not, as a matter of fact, have any noble intentions. They perform the political-social climbing in the full glare of the gullible citizens who clap for their bravery to work (even when there’s no evidence) with the corrupt lot, to achieve results- tangible results that never come.

Twist, bend, turn the truth. The truth is the truth. But, it appears that the office of the citizen is yet to become fully aware of operations of the benders of truth. What makes them the most dangerous is that they look, dine, speak, live with the citizens but in fact, work with the government

I have to check your profile to be certain before i comment & what you said is true.
Haven't you seen the pattern from Buhari to Tinubu:
If you want to be seen as doing something positive for the federation & country called Nigeria & to get favour or patronage from the governments, Just attack the Igbo race & everything they represent.
Whatever you say ,write or do against the Igbos is a tonic & melodious music to their ears. "Whether its right or wrong, it doesn't matter as long as you're seeing doing things to them."
Buhari made it a center point in his govt & end up plunging Nigeria into multi-dimensional poverty.
Tinubu want to beat that record.
So, don't be surprised bro...

Is it not shameful that he had to steal Donald Duke's childish pics?

If it is not madness on the part of any supporter then it must be foolishness of epic proportion for anyone to support a man without any viable background to be the president of a country like Nigeria.

I'm so sorry to say this but Tinubu supporters need mental evaluation.

South west has the highest number of Nigerians seeking for greener pastures in England. If the south west is progressive as you've always painted it to look like, yorubas won't be japaing to Europe and other African countries to seek for greener pastures.

Let me remind you again that Lagos is the only state in Yoruba land that's a little bit develop due to the help that it's getting from the federal government as a former Federal capital territory. Other south west states are poverty stricken.

The national bureau of statistics confirmed what I've said here .
Politics / Re: Defend Yourselves Against Bandits’ Invasion – CAN Tells Southern Kaduna by TheEndless: 9:57am On Sep 09, 2023
Omooba77:
According to CAN, people must be responsible for the protection of the communities where they live because security is everybody’s business.

The Christian Association of Nigeria in Kaduna State has again called on the residents of Southern Kaduna and the state in general to defend their communities in the wake of renewed attacks by bandits.

According to CAN, people must be responsible for the protection of the communities where they live because security is everybody’s business.

Reverend John Hayab, the CAN State Chairman, made this call in a statement on Friday while reacting to the attack on Fadan Kamatan Parish of the Catholic diocese of Kafanchan, Zangon Kataf LGA of the state.

He urged the state governor and all relevant stakeholders to immediately swing into action and ensure that those responsible for the Kamatan Evil Night attack are apprehended and made to face the law.

“It is unacceptable that this kind of unholy activity could be recorded at the heart of Fadan Kamantan community, and the criminals operate unchallenged. It is a slap to the security forces within that jurisdiction, religious leaders, traditional, and community leaders.

“The position of CAN Kaduna State Chapter has always been that we as citizens must complement the government in her primary responsibility of saving our lives and properties by proactively building a community security system that prevents any form of invading force into our community,” he said.

He appreciated the willingness of the present administration in the state to proffer practical, real, and lasting solutions to the security challenge in the state, as seen by the ongoing recruitment process of over 7,000 men and women into the Kaduna State Vigilante Services (KADVIS).

Reverend John Hayab reiterated that leaders at all levels in southern Kaduna and Kaduna State must wake up to this call and be responsible for the protection of the communities where they live and lead.

Hayab further explained that it was disheartening that the attack took place near the Kaduna-Kafanchan major highway with a military checkpoint not far from the Parish.

He said CAN and all Christians in the state sympathized with the chief shepherd and local ordinary of Kafanchan Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Julius Kundi, the Parish Priest and Parishioners of Kamatan Parish, the Kurama Community of Brother Naam Ngofe Danladi, the leaders, and the good people of Zangon Kataf LGA and Fadan Kamantan community over the unfortunate incident that claimed the life of the Seminarian.
