Congrats, but please how did you apply for review?

Wish you the best in other endeavours.

Godsgrace30:
Hello guys. I have been following this platform for sometime but not been active. I applied for my Australian Visa and the process took 4 months. I was rejected at first but no reasonable reason, then my application was sent for a review and this time successful. I want to let someone know that you can apply for a review if you were rejected for no good reason. And also let u know SOP is very important. In fact seek professional help for it. If u want to apply for Aus Visa make sure you are busy with something, work or business. That been said, please who is in Perth alrdy??

You are exempted from English Language test, because if you are not exempted, the school will not offer you COE.

Best of luck in your visa application.

Respected Gurus in the house, I seek your opinion and advice on this little, yet complex issue. I recently completed an Msc Degree in public health in England and I was admitted for a doctoral research in Edith Cowan University, Perth Australia. I got my COE on Friday and I'm in the process of making my online visa lodgement. My question evolves around English language test exemptions as I read that student enrolled in a postgraduate research course are exempted from English language proficiency tests as stated on https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/student-500. Excerpts as follows: You do not need to provide evidence of an English test score with your visa application if one of the following applies: you are enrolled in a principal course of study that is a registered school course, a standalone English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS), or a registered post-graduate research course. My question goes thus, can I proceed with the submission of my e-lodgement as I fall in the exemption category baring in mind that my Uni has indicated in my COE that I have satisfied their English language requirement or do I still need to write an English test prior to submission. Advice and comments are welcome

With the scholarship, you have to provide the following

1. Medicals, 41k naira x 5, biometrics, 8,200naira X 5, Health insurance might be more than 2.0million naira because you have pay for the period of your study at once bfor visa application, one visa application fee AUD 575 covers the whole family.

2. There is no minimum amount for your SOA, put as much as you can because this increases your chances of showing that your condition in Nigeria is good. it is advisable to use your hubby's, urself, mum or dad account for the SOA bc[os u will be asked to prove your relationship with whosoever account you present.

3. The chances are the ability to prove that the family is going to australia genuinely and temporarily. This can be done by showing your present job details, your husband current job and why you want them to accompany you to australia while studying. Also, showing evidence for properties could help.

I hope this info helps!!!

Please I need info on things I need to do for visa grant for me, my hubby and 3kids. I'm going with family cos that's the only way I can focus on my studies.

From discussions with my supervisor, I may likely get a tuition, living expenses scholarship. With a scholarship, education fee would be waived for my kids. I read that somewhere.

I would only proceed if there's scholarship as the fee is about 84k

I would like to know the following:
1. cost of medicals, biometrics, health insurance, visa application fee.
2.the minimum amount that should be in SO A? Which SOA would I present?mine, hubby or a relative.
3. What can enhance our visa chances?

School is UNSW. Course LL.M by research. 2 yr programme

application date: 12 Nov 2018
grant date: 24 Jan 2019

was refused Visa on 4th of Oct 2018. I had to reapply and thank God I finally got it.

I was refused the first time because the vo was not convinced I will come back after my studies. The reasons include:
I was not working
I didn't provide evidence of future employment
I am not married
I don't have strong economic times.

In my second application, I met the conditions except marriage.
I provided two letters of future employment
I was working as a volunteer research assistant, so I provided the evidence
I provided evidence of a landed property I bought in 2016
I provided evidence of travel history (I didn't provide all these documents in the first application)
The school also wrote a support letter that they need me and have provided me with scholarship for the PhD program

Congrats and I love your courage of not being discouraged from the first refusal. Pls when you re-apply, did you go for another biometrics capturing?
Thanks in advance and wish you d best in aussie

@ Strongmercy123,

Sorry for the denial, it hurts but you do not need to loose focus. You can re-apply yourself. Check through the Department of home affairs website and understand each criteria bfor applying again.

I wish u the best.

hello guys!!!

Please i need clarifications and information on my circumstance.
I got a visa grant (subclass 500) for myself but my husband and child was refused on the basis that he does not meet the genuine temporary entrant criteria and incorrect paperwork submitted. my question goes thus:

1. do they (hubby and child) need to do another biometric capturing while re-applying? - the last capturing that lead to refusal was not up to 6months

2. if they are to do another capturing, can the capturing be done before lodging another application?

3. in showing evidence of GTE, how many months (minimum) can the my hubby statement of account be?

4. what do they mean by incorrect paperwork submitted during the last application?

5. Do we need to fill another statement of purpose (SOP) for re-applying

6. Do my sponsors stated in the initial application need to give a recent bank statement again?

7. What other thing can he use to proof that his stay in Australia will be temporal aside from job, business, family ties and property owned?

Thank you as i await your response. For all awaiting visa grant, success is all i wish you.

@ Sparkle123,

Thanks for responding. All evidence of relationship was provided. Although i was on scholarship which cover my tuition fee, living expenses and oshc, we still presented financial sponsors statement worth more than 40,000AUD but my hubby statement of account was not part of sponsors.

OTHER GURUS IN THE HOUSE, PLS HELP!!!
