A child is safer with both parents taking responsibility because both have a huge role to play in the children's protection...as the father can end up raping his daughter, a mother can also end up doing same to her son.

Also, mother's should not cover up a rapist father, likewise fathers should not cover up rapist mothers..

So, what I am basically saying is that no woman should bare the full financial burden of the house when married to a responsible, higher earning husband.. she can only support if she wants..same way as no man should be bare the full burden of raising the children as he is meant to be a support to the woman in doing this
