That's why I'm loving the full takeover of WB by AT&T and the appointment of Ann Sarnoff as CEO. Even the DC and HBOMAX collaboration is pretty good and ingenious. Numerous DC projects on deck. The next five years will be eventful and DC choked full of content and options.

HBOMax DC lineup is probably the most exciting ambitious project so far and sub banner of DC. It will be pretty competing with the main DCEU, dominating the likes of DC Universe and CW. Projects such as Justice League Dark and Green Lantern gives me joy.

For the backstory and devt of Darkseid's backstory, that's the reason we are getting NEW GODS. It's to be directed by Ava Duvernay. We are putting some real good confidence in female Directors— I like it.

After New Gods have been introduced on the Big screen, sequels would prep for a big Event movie, probably under the Justice League banner.

Snyder should leave out Almighty Darkseid from the cut and allow Ava do her thing.

However, if darseid doesnt appear much in the snyder cut, then its okay and Ava can do a proper character development with new gods.

Not really. It's just teasing I guess since Snyder is getting His.Besides there's Suicide Squad movie coming which will retcon previous movie with a soft reboot.

He has been asking for his cut release mostly cos of the backlash his film received from critics and fans alike. And the fact that WB butchered his vision with their micromanaging.

I hear the peeps who were actively against the Snyder Cut releasing are out of WB. Hence the new exec has more peeps who wants the cut released. I'm liking this new CEO Ann Sarnoff. And Kevin Tsujihara can go fvck himself, he really destroyed us bad. By This year we should have had Flash and Cyborg by now, prepping for Green Lantern.

Isn't Walter Hamada the new head of DC? Honestly I'll like all the big wigs in charge of important decisions and influence involved in the bumpy road of DC's first 5 films to be sacked or demoted. Except prolly the likes of Geoff Johns remaining in the creative department. I'd like for James Wan to have a bigger role in DCEU.

You guys arguing Thanos V Darkseid should remember that this match would depend on the versions of said characters i.e Comics, Animation, Films (Independent & Cinematic Universes)

Personally, I'd take the versions from the source material (comics)

In the comics, Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet isn't even close to the most powerful version of Thanos. I think that would be Heart Of The Universe (HOTU) Thanos.

As for Darkseid, I think his strongest is the Soul Fire version (correct me if I'm wrong)

Not intentionally being a bummer, but whoever wins would depend on whoever was scripting the fight, you know, given that it's just how comicbooks are. I mean Spider-Man has beaten Firelord and Batman gave Spectre a roundhouse kick and hurt him in the comics. Hell, aged Aunt May has decked a good number of Spider-Man villains who are supposed to be either mutants or possess magic based powers. Anything goes in superhero world . Personally, I think HOTU Thanos has better feats than SF Darkseid who struggled with Orion. Other than that I think it would probably end in stalemate. Its alright if you disagree. I'm not interested in any back and forth madness afterall.

Thanos vs Darkseid has been debated severally and most times (if not all), darkseid wins..

Several comic book nerds have analysed of their power levels which was even argued on twitter several months back which I stated on the DC thread when Darkseid was trending.

It was so hot and epic that even twitter moment had to do a poll to decide who wins.

Guess who won? See the image below. Take note, thanos has appeared in several live action movies yet Darkseid is still revered.

Thanos is super strong, no doubt, but Almighty Darkseid is stronger.

Comparing powers and abilities, Darkseid is above Thanos. But Thanos as more feat and achievements compared to Darkseid and that is because he has more appearances in comics and movies.

Also, he doesn't have really tough opponents in Marvel when compared to Darkseid in DC.
