4. I'm a faster learner. I started freelance writing in 2021 without any professional training and without a mentor. I took on projects I had no idea about, learned from available resources, and went on to deliver outstanding results. Since 2024, my Job Success Score (JSS) on Upwork has been 100%, a testament to my dedication to delivering outstanding results.

PoliticsRe: Multiple Protests By Aggrieved APC Supporters, Aspirants Hit Jos by THELATTERMAN(m): 10:02pm On May 22
Smart politicians like Obi should learn from the APC's primary elections. I strongly believe that if care is not taken, they might run the general election the same way they conducted their primary elections - nothing would be free and fair.
CelebritiesAlexx Ekubo's Humanitarian Legacy by THELATTERMAN(op): 8:53pm On May 12
Alexx Ekubo was a good actor. But beyond the screen, he spent years championing youth empowerment, education, and humanitarian causes that reach far beyond the film set.

Here are some of his real contributions to society:

1. In 2023, Alex Ekubo was named Rotary Youth Ambassador of the Year by Rotary International District 9142, recognizing his sustained commitment to youth growth, confidence, and leadership development across Nigeria.

2. In 2020, he was listed among the U.N.'s Most Influential People of African Descent Under 40, an initiative connected to the United Nations that spotlights emerging leaders driving positive change on the continent.

3. In 2021, he won the Nigerian National Award of Excellence as Global Social Giving Actor of the Year, a formal recognition of his charity work and community contributions.

4. Through his partnership with the Oladele Fajemirokun Foundation, he visited and supported public primary schools in Lagos, bringing attention and resources to early childhood education.

5. Beyond formal awards, Ekubo consistently used his celebrity platform to mentor young Nigerians in entertainment, entrepreneurship, and personal development — making his influence as much off-screen as on.

May His Soul Rest in Peace

Previous trend:
https://www.nairaland.com/8292198/relocating-abuja-me-decide

So I relocated to Abuja in January this year, and it's been a mixed feeling. But no regrets.

As a recent graduate who's yet to start/complete NYSC, I didn't bother looking for a job. So, I've been mostly indoors writing content for my clients - I'm a content writer. But now, I'm getting cabin fever from being indoors 24/7.

I'm supposed to join NYSC Batch A, Stream 1. Unfortunately, I have been moved to Stream 2, which camping will commence on the 21st of May. I can't stay cooped for another one month before camp. I'd go mad if I do - lol.

So, please I'm looking for an on-site gig to keep me busy. Something to make me leave home once in a while! Like I mentioned earlier, I'm a content writer. In fact, I’m top-rated on Upwork, with a 100% job success score.

But, It mustn't be a writing gig. I can take on any roles requiring critical thinking, research, and time management skills.

I live near Efab Estate, Lokogoma, and would appreciate anyone who could link me with a job opportunity.

Thanks.

Well, from my little experience, we Nigerians, especially those of us living in the country, are always on the lookout for the slightest opportunities to extort ourselves. It is just everywhere: both in our megacities and remote villages.

Don’t you have relatives here in Abuja who can help you out better? Or at least close friends.
I do. But I just fancy the thought of getting suggestions from different people. It doesn't hurt.
