LG G3, G4 were very strong for their competitors but LG made the same mistake with the V10 like they did with them.

The Qualcomm SD 808 and 810 were too weak for the beautiful QHD screen and also components. The overheating, bootloop is unfortunate but you have to admit LG sure makes beautiful phones.

The modular G5 shouldn't have been made.

The G6 is good as is the V20.

Waiting on the V30 though to be frank, taking away the back buttons from the V series and also rumours of second screen removed for a floating ticker is disappointing cos those things are what made LG special - novelty.

I remember when people pick my G3 or V10 for the first time and constantly turn the phone over and over searching for the power button. I'll just be smiling like a boss

BTW, your G4 is going through the bootloop, you can heat the SoC and memory chip on 375°C for about two minutes with a blower then apply heat sink/pads to them before reassembling. After that you have to root, use a governor and reduce the number of cores (deactivate some cores), that should work.

Alternatively, you can buy a new motherboard, between $70 - 100

recently gave a g4 out for repair... it crashed... it kept crashing even after updating d os several times... d engineer got fed up and said it cnt b repaired again
