Very typical of our government.

I agree, it is not every battle to fight. I say it was largely communication issues between both parties. While the lecturer demanded video being deleted, if the video was important to her and not wanting it deleted, she could have told him she'd edit it, and if not , actually deleted it. There's no reason to pick fights when there's no need.

However, as the situation has come to this, based on my experience with cases of abuse and getting court justices for damages, if I was her lawyer, I'm not a lawyer, I'd put the below.

Cases of abuse:
1. Tapped her to shove her aside (let's assume this is excuseable)
2. Demanding that her intellectual property (her recorded video) be deleted
3. Abusing his office of being a lecturer to demand the no. (2).
4. Forcefully taking possession of the lady's property (her phone) without any police or court order.
// In which the lady reacted by defending/fighting him.
5. Clutching the lady's wrists and with the intent to cause the physical danger of breaking her wrists.


The lady's only offence : defending herself from people like the lecturer who ride on the sentiments of others and abuse their office of being lecturer to act unjustly against students who are largely humans, and also lawful residents of Nigeria.

If she goes this way then it means she is not wise. She will grow old trying to prove her case. She should cut her losses and plead with Nigerians for forgiveness. They are easily forgiving like I have said before. Her reactions is what really offended many people not even the events before that. Even if she was justified laying a hold on your lecturer and trying to tear him to shreds like an angry tiger while your fellow female students and all were pleading with you is simply unforgivable.

It is not entirely justified, but as she said, she was under duress with someone coercing her to act against her wish in a heated manner.

Condemning the acts of the lecturer would have been better and disciplining the lady for assault, not this public statement..

Two wrongs do not make a right. If the Lecturer pushed her as she claimed which is a lie from the video we saw there are better ways of addressing the issue. She reacted with insolence. As the man returned and demanded she deleted the video showing his face knowing he is a man that has authority over her as her teacher she should have simply abliged his request to avoid trouble but nay as is the case with this present generation of youths they must prove stubborn and now she has gotten the reward of stubbornness and ill behavior.
Wisdom is profitable to direct and as I always tell people it's not every battle that you are justified to fight that you should fight. At times it's better to walk away and avoid unforseen circumstances.

Is she a persona non grata .. because I am trying to understand the vacate the premises immediately, what if she gets an injunction against the school and lecturer. A Lawyer could give 1000 reasons for her behavior.

If she tries to play hardball she will be burned in the end because the lecturers will mark her out for victimization and she may never graduate. It's better she cuts her losses and moves on because as it is no serious university may want to accept her considering her now notorious status and if she eventually graduates which firm would risk taking her with this level of notoriety?
She should make an apology video where she apologizes to the Lecturer, the entire department, the school and to other Nigerians who felt rightfully irritated by her actions and move on. Nigerians are easily forgiving. Playing hardball will burn her down even further.

Excellent. This should serve as a lesson to stupid people like her who may be dreaming to try such in future.
NUC should ensure no university nationwide accepts her till after two years would have elapsed. Discipline must be restored and this should serve as a warning to stupid parents raising monsters as children. That child you are failing to train will later bring an everlasting disgrace to you and your family like this untrained girl has done.
We should go back to the days the entire community used to be involved in raising morally upright and well trained children. Wokeness is destroying this generation bit by bit.

I am not talking about this particular report. Just making a general observation about the trend of siezed weapons coming into the country whose importers are usually unknown and not investigated.

We are always told that the customs intercepted container load of weapons but they have never bothered themselves to investigate where these weapons cache are going to. No intelligence no arrests nothing.

This rubbish has been going on for some time now and our useless government has never taken any action on it. Why should there be conflicts between our security forces? Does It not show indiscipline and lack of order? This is happening because both forces do not know their supposed constitutional functions.

Parents of these days have failed miserably in raising morally upright kids. Our wokeness has damaged the next generation. It's a pity.
