ICC arrest warrants for Israel’s Netanyahu and Gallant, Hamas’s Deif Fair enough. All the sides should be held to account to a fair and independent justice system. Too much spilling of the blood of innocent people on all sides. Waste of time. Trump will fix the madness. Let him that hath no fear lay his hands on the Benjamin. |

Obj is not a saint but he is by far the best we have ever had since this our failing Democratic experiment. I remember it was during his time that a whole lot of government workers including lecturers had their salaries increased and suddenly many of them had a change in their finances with many I knew then buying cars. There was enough disposable income like someone rightly said and because he had a good economic team that had the likes of okonjo iweala, soludo and some other good economic eggheads from other parts of the country he was able to shield the country from economic collapse that consumed many countries then. Buhari failed woefully and Tinubu is doing worse because they are playing tribal politics with our economy. That Edun guy and the returnee Brazilian cardoso have been giving nothing but excuses since they took over. |

Politics › Re: Iconic Presidential Photos From Africa by themanderon: 6:33pm On Nov 18, 2024 |
MadPolitician: And you know what's very painful in all these? It is the fact that Nigeria and Nigerians were always going out of the way to support some of this imperialist agendas very vociferoussly. You remember how most Nigerians were cheering on as the French special forces under a racist Sarkozy stormed the Ivorian presidential Palace and dragged out Gbaagbo and his wife in the most humiliating way possible. American special forces under Obama were also involved too.
Meanwhile Nigerians whose political agenda/news are set by a mercenary press domiciled along the Lagos Ibadan expressway, were far more upset with Gbaagbo than most Ivorians. We thought we were fight for democracy. Most Nigerians don't know that the the most prominent media houses in this country, are owned by western intelligence agencies, and that most of these folks fronting as local owners, are nothing but local proxies. It is the same thing with the banks.
But why were Nigerian so pissed with Gbaagbo to the extent that a bemused Goodluck Jonathan gave his go ahead for NATO forces to demolish the Ivorian presidential Palace? It was because the presidential elections in that country was said to have been rigged by Gbaagbo and NATO wanted Gbaagbo to respect regime term limits and leave office.
Well, right now Alassan Quattarra is in the middle of an unconstitutional third term! And you hear no whimper from Paris. He has finished serving his two terms and continued with a third term and the French are his biggest supporter!
I remember how we dragged the discussions here then with all these starry eyed Africans who gobble everything thrown at them by the CNN and VOA line hook and sinker, thinking the West was fighting for the Ivorians.
Many Ivorians hate Nigerians because of that event and many of those supporting Quattarra in Cotedvoir are from the northern part of the country that shares the same ethnic background with most of Burkina Faso.
We really need our own CNN and BBC in this country. The same frenchiies are the ones that have supported the despot Paul Biya in his decades misrule of Cameroon. For them its all about interests. |

The whites knew how dense they were intellectually, and that's why they imposed apartheid on them. They hate anything that remotely looks like them and adore their masters with their lives. These animals have destroyed one's capacity to believe that Nigerian 'activists' are genuine. They have wreaked havoc on the consciousness of discerning people.
It is all about their personal interests/biases/prejudices/loyalties.
However, I still have high regard for:
Gani Fawehinmi Fela Anikulapo Kuti Dele Farotimi
These three Titans help to preserve one's belief that it is possible to find conscientious people who stand by their beliefs and convictions regardless of pecuniary considerations or ethnocentric affiliations. Those people you mentioned are truly legends who defied all the bribes and dainties they must have been offered to stand with the people. I forever salute the late great Gani and fela. |

Am currently on Acyclovir medication. Thank you all for your advice. Have you had Chicken pox before? If you have them the virus simply manifested again because of your compromised immune system. Acyclovir should do. You can also get bitter leaf add some water squeeze the leaf and use it to rub the affected area and get some more leaves add water squeeze and drink the juice. It helps with the virus. |
