I'm here o. This oil shortage wahala is much of a problem. Even getting the right synthetic oil is another thing. I will suggest that we move away from the usually known oils and focus on other good brands like Motul energy 5w30 API Sl sold by infinity tyres, Royal purple is sold here on Nairaland which is also an API Sl, or the German Addinnol 5w30 which is also 5w30 with energy conserving. Lubrex has a new oil in town that's energy conserving too and it's 5w30. I happened to come across Favoil 5w30 but I have not yet received the other gallon to analyze it's efficacy. There's also Infinity lubricant which claimed that it exceeds the specifications. We used it on a Corolla 2 weeks ago and we are yet to get feedback. For those using Toyota cars 5w30, focus on the API Sl energy conserving gasoline engine oil only type of oil. It will never short. Even though the newer oils are backward compatible, use the oil recommended for your car.

As you can see from the oil imposter screenshot, there are two email addresses and it was used generally by the radio team. But it has not stopped the impostor to tell his clients the source of his oil and why is his product which he does not produce, is selling for 10k less than other importers even with the dollar going south? I will wait for him to reveal the source of his oil.

You are very correct, the availability is sometimes the problem. It's commonly advised that you should buy a one year supply of engine oil if the availability is restricted. I used to work in a Lube bay and Oil change interval for conventional oil is 3 months or 3000 miles and from my observations, hardly no sludge. But the engine is systematically being destroyed when using the oil that is not recommended for the car. It's like being warned that the use of low octane fuel will eventually destroy your engine, no matter how good you maintain the car, the engine will surely go south.

Are all your Uber taxis US specs? Yesterday I bought Mobil 1 0w40 USA spec , except for Gazzuzz that sells varieties, you guys sell your spec. There are many Toyotas that recommends 20w50 even the recent ones . When you talk about US specs, which of the US specs that are still using regular unleaded fuel? I have been in contact with a Mobil executive here in Nigeria and the information about your source of the USA oil is what I will not talk about here. I used to use syngard and now I’m using Addinol. The Germans came to my workshop to introduce their oil to me. Have you seen me talk about it on the forum? I advise a lot of people to use Total ATF mvlv. Do you think Total is paying me? If your oil is good, sell it and do your business. Mobil recommends annual protection oil and the Toyota and Nissan spec for Toyota. Even the 0w40 for Benz is not extended performance, so why are you guys harping on the extended performance as the best thing on earth after Agege bread?

Extended performance will last longer on an engine than regular Mobil oil.. You do not know more than Mobil USA or car manufacturers that says the oil is guaranteed for 15,000 miles.. there is no Toyota or Nissan manual that says annual protection Mobil oil is what Toyotas and nissans need...

You sit in your workshop and determine which oils are better than what Mobil and Castrol makes..

Toyota says use 5w30 or 5w20 or 0w20 as case may be on their manuals and on their oil cap. simply use an oil that matches that viscosity and meets manufacturer requirement..

Extended performance is just a term to denote that the oil will do 15,000 miles comfortably without wear or damage to engine.

Keep your obsolete opinions to yourself and stop miseducating people.
