Bring it to our shop for a proper diagnosis if you're in Lagos
Can I also bring mine, same issue, I just bought it Nigerian used though, and it was working few weeks ago when I bought it, parked it down since I was out of town, got back and AC is blowing normal air. They said the compressor has hook and it may be cos of the evaporator or bad gas, that I'll have to change it.

Hi guys, good morning.

I noticed that my 2005 V6 Hybrid Honda Accord consumes fuel faster than normal. My usual route is Berger to Lekki via 3rd mainland (Monday - Friday) when the roads are free (I leave the house between 10am - 11am and I leave the office between 9pm - 10pm).

I bought 5k fuel Tuesday night and by Thursday evening (Last week) on getting home, the low fuel light was on. I noticed that I smell petrol within the vehicle (not every time but at least within a day, I’ll smell it like two or three times during my commute) and it usually comes through the A/C vents.

Had a mechanic check for leakages Last week Saturday and he said he didn’t find any leakages. Started using the car this week again and I still smell the fuel once once though the A/C vents and It’s fuel consumption is still high.

Anyone with an idea on what the problem is or how to find the problem, your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Aaaaarghmed:
not more than 5k

For refrigerant not more than 5k, expect substandard cooling (typically cold at night but you sweat in the sun).

If pure r134a must be used, can't be less than 10k.

The main problem is availability. Most of the refrigerant in our market are impure, hence cool poorly.

I have some available, but usually for private use cos most people out there won't want to pay for such. But that's premium service cheesy... Pulling vacuum + charging cool

I saw this display 4.1 this morning as I parked after my outing.

I was not sure whether it was there before.

Is this something to be worried about?

I’d guess you have a misfire. Check your plugs or coils first

In Nigeria, apart from ours the only other decent one is Johnsen. It's common and easy to find. Just make sure to buy from a reputable person.

Good day everyone.

I want to get experts opinion about Honda Civic 2000 Hatchback for hustle purpose.

It is Nigerian used, manual transmission.

I want to know if it is not prone to ball joint issue, and does it have good fuel economy? Also, the parts....how cheap?

Thanks
