Samsung Electronics is looking to build a new camera sensor, which is capable at shooting up to 1000 frames per second(fps).

Sony was the first to build this type of mobile camera technology, though building a dedicated on-chip camera memory on Xperia XZ Premium and XZs.

The advantage of on-chip memory is that the camera can store many frames very fast – enough to shoot 1,000fps. Streaming those to the main RAM will be too slow, so Sony built a three layer sensor for pixels, control logic and memory.

Gionee has officially confirmed that the M7 smartphone will be made official on September 25.

In the last couple of days, we have already seen a lot of leak renders of the Nokia 8 and also it specifications all over the internet. So at this point all we been waiting for is for HMD Global to do is make it official, and it actually happen sooner than we may think.

Today Nokia’s Chinese website put up a promotional image for the yet-unannounced smartphone, as evidenced by the screengrab you can see below.

Which we assume can this was a mistake by the webmaster, since HMD still hasn’t official unveiled the Nokia 8.

The Nokia 8 in the official image looks better than the leaked renders before. From the official image, we can see the same blue color version we’ve seen already, and with a black front (which perhaps are meant to mask those big top bottom bezels). Also from the image the date show on the lock screen, we may say that there is possibility for the Nokia 8 to become official tomorrow.

The Nokia 8 should come with a 5.3-inch QHD touchscreen, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset at the helm. Its dual rear cameras will be Zeiss branded, each having 13 MP resolution. Depending on which exact model you buy, you’ll get either 4 or 6GB of RAM, and the handset will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. As for pricing, an unlocked unit will cost around €550-600 according to past rumors.

What is ZEISS Camera lens?

The yet-to-be-announced Nokia 8 has pretty thin bezels on the right and left side of its screen, but the top and bottom bezels are certainly on the thick side. Design
Looking at the Zephyrus, you can tell that Asus really put a lot of effort in making this laptop.From the design you can see the placement of the keyboard, it's very close to the front and it has little holes to support airflow.


On opening the laptop, you can see an open vent at the bottom which also allows cooling and airflow.

Also the Touchpad can be turned into a digital number pad, which is really cool.


Display

The down side of the Zephyrus is the 1080p display (Full HD), which is not really bad for a 15 inch laptop, but would have been better as a 4k screen which some other gaming laptops are equipped with.

The Zephyrus sports an IPS display, a 120Hz refresh rate and also supports G-sync which is definitely great for ultra-smooth gameplay.

Performance


From the specifications, you'll definitely know the Zephyrus is no slouch, rocking Intel's core-i7700HQ @ 3.6GHz CPU, a GTX 1080(8GB GDDR5X) Max-Q, 512GB NVME SSD, 64GB DDR4 RAM, 1080p resolution, the Zephyrus can definitely handle any game comfortably.

But obviously one major performance issue is CPU throttling and high heat temperature which you should expect from any gaming laptop as there isn't a sufficient cooling system.

Well with all the hard work and effort put into the Asus Zephyrus, you should expect it be quite expensive. Retailing for about $2,699 the Zephyrus is really quite expensive.

Asus plans to release a lower version of Zephyrus later this August with half the storage and a GTX 1070 at $2,229.

The recent new WhatsApp update now support sharing of any type of file and now currently testing a feature that'll allow you to view YouTube videos directly within the chat window, eliminating the need for the app to launch the YouTube app for playback.

Airtel Finally Launched Unlimited Data Packages… But the Price Will Shock You

Few days ago, we heard the new about Etisalat Nigeria pulling out of Nigeria Telecom market and has three weeks to change brand name to something else. Etisalat Nigeria, Thursday, announced it will now trade under the brand name 9Mobile.

But for the Etisalat subscribes out there, there no need to worry or panic, as they promised that the internal operations will not be affected and staffs will not be retrenched … only the name will change and it has changed.

But other rumors has it that Etisalat ani’t make any official announcement about the change of name, and other suggested it may be named Orange or  Vodafone. But we keep our fingers crossed and see.

And about the name 9mobile, for me nothing really bad about the name. But there would better go for 9jaMobile or something Nigerian in nature.

Abu Dhabi Telecommication Network Etisalat has terminated its management agreement with its Nigerian arm and has given Etisalat Nigeria three weeks to phase out the brand in the country. This was as a result of the $1.7 billion loan talk collapse. The chief executive of Etisalat International said on Monday.

Nigerian regulators intervened last week to save Etisalat Nigeria from collapse after talks with its lenders to renegotiate a $1.2 billion loan failed.


All UAE shareholders of etisalat Nigeria have exited the company and have left the board and management, Hatem Dowidar said in an interview.

Etisalat Nigeria only have 3 weeks to use the brand name, and then change it to something else or other Telco’s will buy it off. We don’t know for now what will happen to the millions of subscribers on the network.
Any way we wait see what the next company will do about it.

Another speculating about Apple’s next iPhone. Rumor has it that Apple is planning to use OLED Displays in all its upcoming iPhone from next year.

For 2017, Apple is expected to release three new phones. An OLED iPhone 8 and two iterative updates to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which will use the same LCD displays as seen on current phones.

Pc games nowadays games are getting more and more graphics intense and require a high-end specs. But it is not possible for everyone to upgrade their old PC to such high specs- demanding games like FIFA17, Horizon zero dawn, the Witcher 3. After few years of setback for nokia for not going for Andriod OS, but instead Windows mobile. Which din’t go well and resulted the in selling the company. But manage to back from the the dead this year, under HMS which actually related to Nokia back then.


So back to N20,000 smart touchlight, obviously we know Nokia for making a solid and long lasting devices. But for N20,ooo the Nokia 3310 is just too overkill. Though it comes with 2.4-inch TFT,dual-sim,2MP camera, 16MB for music, but supports Micro sdcard upto 32GB.

My take, Nokia ain’t yet serious, or should i say not yet ready to get back to the game. Because seriously the Nokia 3310 should goes for like N7,000 to 10,000, at latest people can afford it.

I am unsure of some of the spces but these what will should be expecting from new device. It will be nice to see an upgrade in the RAM and also internal storage which will expandable upto 128GB, 3000mah battery is quite ok but an improment won’t hurt.
Overall the new DroiPad 7D has much promsing and expectation to be a good and solid device in African mobile market. I expecting a retail price of about N35,000 – N45,000, but still when the device is out that will see the complete package.
