Bro, www.ipportalegre.pt is requesting 20 euro for application fee and they just give out their local bank details which is impossible to transfer to It here...do you have any means it can be paid....or you give me your Nigeria local bank so I pay there with any charges so you can pay it for me.
I can help you but that's if you trust me.
I use GTBank, and I have €, £ and $ account attached with token which help me to transact and monitor my biz anytime, anywhere . Calculate it yourself including the VAT and Offshore charges then you let me know. I should be in Lagos in the next 48 hours too but I don't know how faster you want it.

Ain't a mushroom school but a well recognised public higher education institution in Portugal with only Bsc Management as an undergraduate program taught entirely in English. You could see that I stated that they changed tuition fee from €1'060 to €7'000. Too expensive.
Exactly bro, "no be any how school". How much is Lagos Business School certification programmes? Moreover, the school is situated in Lisbon, capital city.

HelloT: @ theroyalprince Good morning bro, how is studies going? Please I haven't heard from Utad since I want to know there feedback so I can start the process of legalization against February intake... once again a school rejected my application cos my waec is more than 3 years old... is it the same in every school there? is there a way to convince them otherwise? Please bro hope you never abandon us.
I think it was some Canadian schools that reject SSCE more than 3 year, though not too sure. Portugal will accept your SSCE. You'll soon here from them by ending of this month to first week of September. Yes, you can start the verification and legalization process. Tell the consular woman that you have your acceptance letter, if you tell her you don't, she will tell you is too late.

In as much you're schooling and living in Portugal, to learn the language is the best. Everyone want low tuition but why not put in for something and see how it goes.

HelloT:
I think he said you don't need acceptance letter before you start the process of legalizing docs... @ theroyalprince please correct me if I'm wrong. Moneybag100 I think what we should do now is start the process and get all required documents ready for February intake. I think some schools start accepting applications for feb on october...
You don't need acceptance letter before you verify and legalize your docs. The reason why the gentleman was told that it was late for September/October intake was because the verification won't be ready when the classes will start. You can tell the embassy that you want to do it against next session admission.

Oops! You can hold on to your acceptance, by next year, you mail the school to send you another acceptance letter instead of re-applying as fresh applicant.

lillaowow: hi Rabbi, if one apply now, the admission is for fall or winter? Thanks.
It was stated on the school web. Pls go through the web again.
HelloT: Awesome.... God bless you bro. Please this one we are applying for, when will session start? and do we have to be in Portugal in September for the enrollment or is it done online?
Also, how long should we wait for the email on instructions on how to pay the application fee? and even to know if we are accepted cos I heard they won't treat your application till you pay application fee and they haven't sent us an email to that regards.
Don't worry about the application fee. I have talk to them on that and that was part of the concession they have for applicants from Nigeria.
sextail: Please can someone help expatiate on the three 2nd cycles; continuity masters, advanced specialization masters and lifelong learning masters
Thank you
Continuity M.Sc means M.Sc in Management Courses.
Advanced Specialization M.Sc means. M.Sc in Technical and Engineering Courses (Some schools. In Medical Courses).
Life Long Learning M.Sc means M.Sc in Educational programmes and somee few courses.
HelloT:
God bless you bro... hope the feedback will be positive... please how and when are we to pay the application fee or do we have to be admitted before that? Still waiting for there reply. @ moneybag100 I want to apply to University of Evora but it seems they've not started accepting applications. Please if you find other schools abeg post here too thanks.
I think University of Evora application will open on 18th of August, 2014, that is next week Monday. You can search through bro. The cheaper ones I know have closed application for this year so till next year. May be you wait or you put in for Evora.

you are really doing a great job here i will appreciate if you can help us search for more school. so that we will not put our head in one basket.

They'll email you your acceptance.
Ty207:
According to the school admission begins 11th sept 2014 which is less than a month now..... how can someone do all this if offered admission? cos without legalization one cannot get visa right?
I would have dash you €100 if you're here. Very good question. I have been expecting someone to ask me this. The earlier the better you start doing your verification and legalization process. You don't need to wait for acceptance letter to do such. Thee embassy won't request for your acceptance letter for such process.

I just collect acceptance letter for someone and I was told they have highest application from Nigeria and they might reserve number of place for some courses. Fortunately, I was rest assured that all Nigeria applicants will be treated with utmost priority. I'm still in talk with 2 schools to see if they give concession to applicant from Nigeria.

Would be great to meet you! Yea, I know John Ogu plays for Academica. Obiora Nwankwo recently joined as well. Yes, I have been thinking about the 'money lodgement' issue and from what I have read in another thread here, it is one of the most common reasons for visa refusal. So it does not seem like a good idea for me to put in such a large amount shortly before i get the bank statement for my application (even though it is genuinely set aside for my studies). Indeed my account does not have a lot of transactions- I've been away from the country for a few years and only started using it again in March. So it might be better to use my parents bank statements because they have regular inflow and outflow and also get a sponsorship letter from them. Please what do you think about this? I just want to make this application once and for all because I don't have much time left. A refusal would be sad. Thanks.
Yes, you can use your parent Bank Statement and get sponsor letter from them.
@All, I'm having issue with my device. I might be offline for a while or they may be lil delay in replying you.

Thanks a lot man. I hope to submit everything before the week runs out. I was admitted at the University of Coimbra. The reviews I have seen of the town and the university are overwhelmingly positive and I look forward to studying there. Thanks.
I know some Nigerians in Coimbra. A Nigeran guy, John Ogu also play for FC Coimbra. I will talk to him if am to give you his number when you get your visa. I wish you all the best and am looking towards meeting you in Portugal.
Foza Portugal! Obrigada Erasmus!
tlk2Prince: @TheRoyalPrince, abt wat jikajika said "I WILL BE PUTIN 3MILLION NAIRA IN MY. ACCOUNT ON MONDAy" won't d embassy consider it as money lodgement?
They might consider it but if there's flow in and flow out transactions on the account, he won't have issue.

Hello TheRoyalprince. Thanks a lot for all the information you are kindly giving out here. They are very helpful. I have been admitted for PhD and hopefully will hand in my documents to apply for the visa next week. Regarding the bank statement, do I have to show that I have all the funds for the whole four years of study? I'm looking to put in 3 Million in my account on monday. And please how long did it take for the visa to be granted to you after submitting all your documents? Lectures for my programme start on 15th September and I just hope I get the visa before then. Thanks.
Congratulation bro.
3 Million is OK. The reason why i said 4 to 5 Million was because of increase in tuition fee and accomodation fee in most of the schools but notwithstanding you are good to go. The fund is just for a year. When you get to the embassy in Abuja, be free with the woman (consular officer), ask her all the info you need and she will be ready to answer all your question. She is very nice.

Those asking about legalization prior to admission don't need to legalize their docs but for visa, you have to legalize your docs. If the school reject your application and request for your docs to be legalize then you have to but if they do not reject your application, you're good to go!

HelloT: One more thing, I only have the print out of my waec.. should I apply with it or must I get the original before?
It will be more ideal to apply with your original SSCE certificate or your school SSCE letter headed result.

Sorry for all the questions please.... Thanks in advance.
You don't need to legalize for admission. Read the thread from page 0 again..

HelloT:
Chai, I've spent the whole day looking up schools in portugal... please can you make it easier for us by recommending some schools and possibly telling us the detailed procedures your followed during yours? Hope I'm not asking too much please.
The procedure was simple now even if it seems complicated to you. I can recommend www.utad.pt. I'm assured you will get admission if you SSCE is good.
tlk2Prince: Evaro university,,, polytechnic institute of porto... I want to do Tourism or omp. Science so if u can recommend a nice skul there I'd appreciate but make d tuiotion no much ooooo.
a According to my research as of last week, a lot of portuguese higher institution have jerk up their tuition fee. E.g Institutute Polytechnic of Alegeare was 900 euro per year and as of last week, they announced that their tuition is now 2225 euro starting from 14/15 session. Same with University of Trans-Monde, from 1100 euro to 2500 euro per year starting from 14/15. My advice is to budget close 2500 to 3000 euro as tuition fee cos things were gradually changing.
The application link for Institute Polytechnic of Porto is https://www.ipp.pt/site/ipp_internacional/international_students/application.aspx
I recommend all Portuguese schools for you, so use bachelorsportal.com and univ.cc to get what you want.
