Bollywood movies have a warped understanding of the term Feminism. I have come across a lot of instances in Bollywood movies that purport feminism but actually end up making the audience cringe.

This is a scene from the movie Ye Jawaani Hai Dewaani

Makeup in period dramas. It's not that we don't know what historical makeup styles looked like or what they used, it's just that, to modern eyes, a lot of historical makeup made people look weird at best and downright creepy at worst.

I'll just point out the most obvious bit. A common favored look throughout Europe and Asia over many centuries was to make yourself look as pale as possible with rosy cheeks. (This was a common beauty standard across many different cultures because it meant you were rich enough not have to labor in the fields all day.) Except that, historically, that standard usually meant, "chalk white with garishly bright pink or red cheeks/eyes."

Aside from some historical makeup looks appearing weird to modern audiences, there's also no way around the fact that historical cosmetics were … not exactly good things to put on your skin. Foundation was often made of white lead and/or arsenic, eyeliner of lead(II) sulfide, and rouge of red lead or cinnabar

The hero is unarmed, unprepared, and helpless. He can do nothing against the villain’s gun. He’s completely defenseless.

Then the idiotic villain walks up, and holds the gun right against his head.

Inevitably, the hero will do a cool move, twist the gun out of his hand, and turn it on him.

Sacré bleu! How could this happen?

In real life, that is the dumbest possible move you could make in that situation.

You’re holding a gun. You can shoot hundreds of feet.

He has hands. They can punch about 3 feet.

Even if you stand just 10 feet away, he’s helpless. Absolutely no chance. You have complete control. Why the hell would you ever put the gun against his head, within range of his hands?

Stay back, keep some space, and you have him dead to rights. He can’t do a thing.

Do you really think a professional assassin doesn’t know this? Or a rogue cop? Or an ex-soldier? Or literally any person with at least a minor understanding of firearms?

It’s just common sense. Keep the gun out of range of their hands. It’s super simple stuff, but apparently not simple enough for Hollywood.

we're currently evolving. Check yourself, you no longer have a penile bone, there's this other bone that has disappeared from your hand. Forgotten the name.

Every other animal has a penile bone except man and evidence suggests that it was there until recent times.

Another thing is your ability to learn, people are solving complex equations using nothing but their brain meanwhile few centuries ago,we can only boast about physical strength.

Most recently, our grandparents walked great distances. My grandfather walked from Nsukka to Onitsha to sell palm oil but ordinary to travel same distance by car is wahala. None of us can walk such distances again.

To fully see the evolutionary changes you desire,we will have to observe man from now till next five hundred years at least but unfortunately none of us will be alive then unless science makes a breakthrough in immortality.

That one is a discussion for another day cause to many people, it's not possible and far-fetched

Evolution is adaptation on a larger scale ,aids survival ,not to make us happy or comfortable , life is harsh , evolution is too . I honestly did not believe In evolved creatures because of the missing link , bit if you made little research , check evidence(fossil fuel ) we use today is prove ,I don't know what else to say than Thank you for at least reading this.
