I think the advantages the A52s has over the Xiaomi 12 Lite is the IP rating, OIS and the fact that it might get a longer software support than the Xiaomi 12 Lite.
Also is the Xiaomi 12 Lite available in Nigeria?

My Xiaomi people, I need your help. I've been using a Mi 8 Lite since April 2019 with no issue whatsoever. I never used a screen guard and the screen has no blemish.

Now, I feel it's time for something new. I'm conflicted between going for a Samsung A52s 5G or a Xiaomi 12 Lite. They have similar specs so it's kind of difficult to pick. I'm already used to light weight phones but I'm also tempted to see what all the fuss is about the A52s 5G.
