I am not an APC fan however, I was in Yewa North LGA for a friend's father's burial in Feb. 2025.

From Ilaro to the Venue of the burial in Yewa North, Ogun State Yayi seems to be an unequivocal person without a rival in the whole community.

No doubt, it was good optics.

Yayi has the total support of his people.

Ideal, but regional governance is no longer possible because the states have gained too much autonomy such that no state will like to give up its autonomy to a regional government. For example, Owerri will not subject itself to control by Enugu as seat of regional government. That's why creating new states to attempt tp balance the political structure between the zones, is ideal solution.
