You actually need this research for yourself because everything i said is verifiable, and mind you not everyone lives in Nigeria I have been traveling round the world since I was 31 that was 9yrs ago just Dey mumu Dey call God of Israel for Africa there 🤣🤣

With due respect to your age (not location) and as an adult myself I won't tell you to shut up this time, but don't leave the main points I hammered on.

Fact is there's a God of Israel according to the Bible so let the Christian's enjoy their believe.

Fact is, yes you can read your bible in Egypt and Israel (Both non Christian countries) in a public park with non Chriatians around without being harrassed or arrested.

Fact is you can't do the same up North in Nigeria with our over sabi Muslim extremists and hisbah police around?
Christian's are more safer in Israel and Egypt than many Northern Nigeria areas.

Fact is Hamas and Hezbola are terrorists in modern day, just like the Christian crusaders would be called terrorists too of they we're to be active today. jihad of the sword, bomb or gun was hailed in the past but now even Muslims are tired of the bad stigma today and want to enjoy life.

Interests and Politics has taken over loyalty and honor, gone are the day's of a patient dog eat the fatest bone or a good name is better than silver and Gold.

There's a new world order so you either flow with it or be left behind.
I won't lecture you again except I learn a thing or 2 from you.

You be mumu, at this point I understand why a lots of you people are brainwashed because you hate to hear the truth 🤣😂😂

Shut up again. Empty talks, no substance, no facts or evidence and you expect me to believe your stupid hearsay ogogoro joint conspiracy theory.
You better travel and get exposed or update your research/IQ.

It's not so difficult to watch modern documentaries if you put your mind into it and also have enough internet data.

Shut your mouth and stop spreading falsehood.

Israel is a Liberal country and you can bring out your Bible in Israel, sit at a publc park and read without any issue with the Jews around.

I'm sure you also don't know you can publicly read your Bible in Egypt without issues with the Arab Muslims but you can not drink alcohol publicly in the same country.
The Northern Muslims are more hostile than many Arab muslims and Israelites so get your facts right before spewing trash.

Palestine is more likely to br accepted globally and exist peacefully without Hamas, Hezbollah and Muslim extremists.
This is 2023 not 1923, there's a new world order.

Bigchristo:
Don’t you see how stupid you sound while making such statements? The God of Israel, 80% of we Nigerian Christians don’t even know the true origin of Christianity and don’t even know how it existed till this day we all were brainwashed by pastors and preachers, there’s nothing like God of Israel stop supporting nonsense, the Jesus Christ you called your lord and personal savior is a Palestinian and those who killed him are the Jewish which is Israel,. Sometimes when I see some people calling Israel holy land I laugh because they knows nothing, you as a Christian can not be bold enough to bring out your Bible in public in Israel you will be jailed because is a Jewish country not a Christian country 73.8% of Israeli Population are Jewish while 18% are Muslims then 1.9% of the population are Christians you people should stop deceiving yourselves and wake up to reality, don’t join forces with the Jewish to kill Christians Palestinians have more Christian’s than Israel… don’t bank on what your pastors told you do a research and help yourself

Governing council? Like Church leaders or what? I'm curious to know more and I thought watch tower belonged to JW not an individual.

I am a Jehovah's Witness and find such very weird.

We don't have a clergy class (Read Matthew 23:8-12). All of us are equally.

All those who work at the headquarters and branches get a stipend. It's the same for all.

If the brother that heads a branch get 10,000, the cleaner too gets 10,000. It's just a stipend.

The president of the Watchtower and Tract flies economy. Even if he was gifted a private jet, he would sell it and donate it.

When a member of the governing council came to Nigeria, it was a pickup they used to ferry him around.

The man was not and is still not aware, ask google 😉 and for the records I was really on your side.... 😁😁

Read my post again. I supported your points but was disappointed you didn't increase the volume so as to look neutral. (I stand to be corrected).

My opinions were/are based on personal experiences so it may differ with yours based your own experiences.

The wokeness part covers a general aspect from my point of view but hey, this is a public forum so anyone can add or minus without consent...🙂.

It is a Man's world as they say, especially in Nigeria that is why the man was left as if he didn't sponsor and partake in the adulterous act.
Nice writing skills on your part 👍

Magnoliaa:

Your points are just all over the place. 😂😂

- You're a neutral person, but you want me to be bold enough to stand my ground, lmao.

- The narration you made supposedly happened in North Africa, but you're blaming Westernization ('wokeness').

- If you believe in living and letting others live, then you should not have responded to me. I was speaking on the men who wants to live, but will not let others (women) live.

- There is nothing in that tweet that says that the husband is unaware. What the writer said was that the sister of the husband-to-be, who is also a friend of the wife-to-be knew of the arrangement and followed her to the ex's house.

And finally, I will address any part of any post from any angle as I deem fit. 🙃

I frankly do not see the basis for your disagreement with me here, because you mostly just reworded all I said, but it's okay.

I like the fact you're smart, exposed and realistic but i think you're not bold enough to stand on your ground. Say what she did is cool or not and forget about people's opinions lol.

What the lady in question did is a big deal because she is a woman located in a hypocritical location, check how people ignored the married man committing and funding adultery but attacked the female committing fornication.

I became neutral in after travelling out of Nigeria and meeting people from different parts of the world. Have a friend of mine from North Africa and his devoted wife is his cousin.
His mother and her younger sister (His Aunt) are grannies to his kids.
That's not just a sin but a taboo where I come from but not a big deal in NorthAfrica.

The only wrong I see here is the secrecy. What ever you secretly do behind your partner is wrong be it good or bad.

I have met couples who sleep with other couples for money.
They don't hide anything from each other and sometimes the wife hook up for the right amount and give the husband everyday updates as the husband babysit the kids while she's in another country groving with another man.
He told me his wife has never cheated on him because he knows everything about her activities.
They don't do drugs and are not drunks but due to my Naija background I had to scratch my head trying to imagine myself being in such a union.

I just feel there was a Universal law governing humans and animals but some people deviated thinking they're smarter and must now impose their woke mentality on others.

We must learn to live and let live because change must be constant in our world either by choice or force.

I now observe, Minding my business in this weirdest of weird world.

Magnoliaa:
You men can be funny sometimes sha. grin

There are some cultures around the world where it is perfectly normal for wives to be provided as 'entertainment' to guests. So many of such stories have been shared here (I remember one particular account by MrBrownJay), and when you guys hear such, you're always so greatly excited.

You always fantasise about going to communities where this is in practice, so you can be offered a man's wife and engage in a threèsome.

But the moment you're presented with alternative cultures which are slightly less patriarchal than others, where it is the wife-to-be who gets to have one last sex, or some form of apparent advantage over the man, you will flare up.

You should know where to draw the line between your cultural ideals which run counter to Christianity principles.

You cannot celebrate and cheer at myriad sexual and cultural practices in the world (child marriage, for example) but want to draw the line at and insist on feminine 'dignity' and purity in the same cultures.

It is Christianity that places the biggest emphasis on virginity, for both one man and one woman.

But you people will want to be treated like traditional Lords by a Christian woman.

So stop cherry-picking which "weird" cultural practices to acclaim or condemn as you wish.

NB: Nowhere in the above post have I said I agree to any of such cultural practices.

Says the ones who don't watch football

Rohr made mention of super eagles being average because the players can't make top flight European teams first 11 and sadly it's true but Nigerians instead of being realistic abused him.

Even if Napoli wins the Seria A this season they are still below Juventus and the Milans of Italy e.g Leicester City as a club is not bigger than Manchester United or Arsenal despite winning the league recently.

Our players are either playing in small leagues/teams or are bench warmers in big teams. Most importantly, they lack passion.

Yorubas were always engaged in Warfare for a long time and their Migrating War and Refugee Camps ofter ended up becoming Towns for example Abeokuta and Ibadan started life as huge Refugee Camps
Agege Started life as an Ibadan war camp when they were the Allies if the Awori against the Egbas of Abeokuta in the Ota war of 1842
The Egbas won all the Territory from Abeokuta to the Lagos Coast including Iddo Island Ebutte Meta nearly all mainland Lagos the only part left out were the Ijebu areas and Lagos Island which they decided would cost the Egba Army an unjustifiable heavy cost in lives lost because of the Sea Warfare required to Capture it

Badagry was never under Oba of Benin it was Captured from the King of Dahomey by the Alaafin of Oyo with Porto Novo and both were the sea Ports of the Oyo Empire

Thanks a lot. What a wonderful read, there should be a movie about this.

The ijebu aborigenes were in Lagos State before the Awori

Abule Egba is only one Egba Settlement

Ketu is a Ketu settlement

Ifako Ijaye and part of Agege are Oyo

Masefejo near Badagry is owu and so is Owu Mushin

Epe is Ijebu but with indigenous Ilaje
That is where Ambodes Ilaje mother is from

Badagry LGA is Egun Egbado and Awori especially around Apa

Have I left out any

The Ojora of Lagos came from Ekiti

Everything North and East of Lekki is generally Ijebu but with many Ilaje
Who practically live beside and on the water

Awesome reply. So was there no overall clan, like a kingdom or governing body where they all belong to in the Lagos region?
Benin kingdom kind of empire covering just the Lagos and may be parts of Ogun down to badagry.

There are at least 8 Yoruba Clans with Ancient Territory in Lagos State

Awori with over 70 % Ijebu ilaje Egba Egbado Oyo Owu Ketu

With Badagry belonging to the Egun

Thanks for breaking it down but I chose to disagree.
The Aworis are the real Lagosians/Okos people with 95%. They migrated from Ile Ife and occupied the present day Lagos state so adding does not justice.

As at when the Aworis migrated to Lagos, there were More Aworis remaining in modern Ogun state than any other yoruba clan in Lagos.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I love brainstorming about ancient civilizations
