rossniti:Fela Created a special genre known as Afrobeat and so many international and local artist's including Lagbaja has been tapping from Fela's songs. Many people here do not know fela studied music abroad and what they call nonsense are actually African idioms and proverbs. |
lexy2014:Please let me add to your post, Ofada rice was a special delicacy before Buhari became president and it was available at a cheap rate. Abakaliki rice as also selling because of its unique taste so why force it down the throat of citizens especially when the local rice production and ability to feed the nation has not been and still not sustainable. GOD bless you for your valid point. |
CamusMidas:You are smart. I like smart people, you nailed it. |
femi4:That's autocracy and can lead to marginalization of smaller tribes/regions. Use Nigeria as a yard stick and tell me if it's a fair game, they created a system that carries everyone along. Finally nothing is perfect after all in our small world. |
femi4:Honestly the rednecks would determine who rules forever. Look at how the northern part of Nigeria dictates who rules because of their population. |
Some one's ex is another persons trophy partner. Life is all about interests after all. I wonder if she would have said this had it been the same college gave her victory over Trump. |
bamite:You're very silly and lack a functioning brain. You left killer herdsmen from the north but chose to attack members on a faceless forum. You never thought of how crazy it sounds for Fulani's to kill westerners in our very own land but chose to mention ipob. You must be drinking aboki urine to be this foolish, local government chairman and the Governor of that state should be held accountable for this rubbish and senseless murder. |
Hotzone:Imagine sending this team to beat up some one close to you. Would you try to protect the person or plead lol |
SmartPolician:You didn't add shipment. $1,141 X 480 naira = Over half a million naira. |
Otuegbe:The future of Nigeria looks blurred with people like this around the president. All they do is praise him in good or bad situations. |
IJOBA2:No caps needed and I do agree with you but the problem is most People here do not read, they just comment after seeing the headlines. When I read the previous news I realised the content was different from the headline, it is time sue bloggers and news agencies for using sensational headlines to mislead the public. |
smile11s:Point is Nigeria is a secular country and the federal law must supersede any other law. If Egypt, United arab emirates and Saudi arabia that are nown as core Muslim countries with Arabic as their first and official language do not have any hisbah, I wonder why Nigeria should allow such. Point of correction Egyptians cuddle way more than the foreigners in Cairo and when you go to shamalshiek Egypt women wear bikinis at pool sides and bum shots any where any time. |
smile11s:You may be right to an extent but I guess that was not maadi and if its Maadi its not around Sakanat or Degla area. Drinking Heineken (alcohol) in public is not a big deal in areas mentioned above and its in the same Cairo Egypt you talked about, in fact cuddling and taking evening strolls was and still is a norm between a male and a female, nobody send you. You should also tell the public there is no Hisbah police in a Muslim country like Egypt so why will there be one in a state like Kano with a lot of Christians. |
Sometimes i wonder if some politicians have clones. How can one be or act smart, humble and positively serious minded before and during campaigns but soon as they get elected boom....... the other version comes to play making citizens more confused and disappointed than angry. ![]()

Egufee of football.. The real G.O.A.T |
UncleSnr:I tell you. Just see an example of what I was saying about imposing religion on some one, I had to swear what I do not believe in or practice and now its on my profile. All I did was comment and behold, I am now a Muslim which would not have been bad if I had freely accepted it. Hisbah does not exist any more in Holy Saudi Arabia but they will never tell you this, UAE just legalised alcohol but no big sheikh or popular Muslim cleric can speak against it to avoid being put in their black list thereby killing future plans to grove in Dubai. ![]() |
Rich Muslims have dogs as pets. Muslims in Arab countries also have dogs as pet, I have a friend in Egypt and her job is to take care the dogs of her Arab Muslim friends dogs so forget all this laws which are meant for the poor Muslims in my opinion. The Arab Muslims pay good money for the upkeep of their dogs and also sleep on same bed with their pet dogs. You are free to practice what ever rocks your boat but this should never be written, imposed or made to look like reality. Peace and love to all on earth. |

SegFault:Human rights still a battle all over the world and the almighty U.S.A isn't left out for example blacks are still suffering from racist abuse over there but come on, Nigeria is not developing positively despite having human rights violations, corruption and all the bad stuffs that can easily kill a country. What can be worse than most citizens giving up hope on not just the current adminiatration but country as a whole from way back till now. Only in Nigeria does the well educated and smart leaders become vice presidents or assistants Dumb psycho power hungry fellows. |
SegFault:You sound unexposed, how many African countries have you been to if I may ask. Try to visit Egypt and you will think you are in Europe, try Rwanda that also suffered a civil war and you would be amazed at their progress and not forgetting South Africa. What the person was total rubbish and there is no attom of truth or reasoning there. |
IamWonderful:Can never happen in the North. Imagine a Northern governor wearing isi agu clothes with Hausa cap in the North.... Strange things are happening. Ebonyi is really doing great. |
Why call the op for keeping quiet when like you said, there are no hard and fast rules regarding reserving a seat in any public gathering. He has every right either keep quiet or intercede on any body's behalf. The girls never thought it wise to formally plead with him or any one around to secure their seats so from the onset, they messed up. Baldwretch: |
Topmaike007:Thanks n God bless |
And Chelsea scores. Nice one blue lads, the sky is always blue. |
sewa36447:What's the channel n how much package on startimes |
NewDelhi:Wow.... You just reminded of that interesting series that ended unexpectedly with out warning. I so loved that series but after it was cancelled till now, I stopped taking series serious because they can break your heart any time. |
Judolisco:Add Griezman |
Torture2020:More of an explanation and diplomatic response not an apology. Being sorry and being diplomatic are different, they are avoiding international sanctions not really the wrath of the Nigerian government. There basically was inadequate security presence over there because it must have taken hours to cause such destruction. |
CilicMarin:Not what I heard from Festac town. Electricity is not and has never been good but expenses on Electric bills and fuel for a month is so high not to mention the noise/air pollution caused by generators. |
GuyWise101:Very big rubbish. |
See under pot calling under kettle black. How did you know he/she is from the east? The last time I checked this was a faceless forum so remove the stick in your eyes before pointing at the log in another person's eyes. I agree with your other inputs though, have a great day. Omoiyaa: |
