On the 20th of November 2016, which was a Sunday I woke up feeling very good.. Prepared for church and had a wonderful time in God's presence... Got back home, ate Sunday rice and relaxed enjoying the rest of the day...towards the end of that day there was a little tension here and there as we anticipated the next day Monday the 21st...i sha went to sleep at about 1am...
At exactly 4:30am my eyes opened and I immediately grabbed my phone only to see on one of the numerous WhatsApp groups I joined that it was out and some folks had checked...ghen Ghen... With sweaty palms and so much anxiety I picked my laptop, did the necessary connections and typed the site nysc.gov.ng.....logged on and saw call up letter print... The moment had arrived... Where have they thrown me to? For 5mins I was looking at the page and it stared right back at me... I clicked and it was loading.. The longest seconds I have experienced in a very long time... And then finally, see me see letter... The first words I saw ASAYA, KABBA BUNU... Wetin be this?? Where this one dey for Nigeria?? And then I looked up and saw KOGI STATE... JESU!!!! KOGI!! What is a Kogi? That one still join Nigeria?? A million and one questions clashing in my head..my mum entering my room and asking.. "what happened?," that's when I realised I had actually shouted..i broke the news and the whole house woke up... Everyone with different reactions... Well...the day came and I sha packed my Kaya and found my way to asaya Camp in Kogi state..
And for 3weeks it was something else... That is another experience for another day

Tomorrow will be greeted with different emotions.. For some... Joy, some.. Anger, some.. Crying, others... Indifference... But whatever you see on your call up letter tomorrow, it's not the end of the world, it's just the start of another phase. And who knows, opportunities abound.. Just make up your mind to enjoy your service year and make the best of it....

And for those that will be coming to Kogi state.... Lol

The initial time table is undated to and from it we can gather that the orientation starts 23rd May 2017 and ends on 12th June 2017! Although it is not clear yet if there will be two streams yet because it is not indicated on the updated version of the time table. About shifting to stream 2, it is not allowed, u can only shift to batch B. The only thing u can do is pray and fast for ur name to be in stream 2...

In todays world making quick money is easy, just go to google and search on how to make money online, u will see different ways like blogging, freelancing or doing simple jobs for people and getting paid on fiverr.
