Due to d current state of insecurity in d country ( d northers givin d igbos quit notice to leave and vice versa) and also d financial state of d country, there will be no 2017 batch A stream II. All stream II prospective corp membas are advised to register again when the 2017 batch b registration portal opens on d 11th of november.

Anambra probably have the worse camp in Nigeria,,, its a temporary camp by d way,,,, but the state is cool, 8,500 state alawee,, camp life was fun and stressful.
WEEK 1: Every where has already been fumigated b4 we came, it was peaceful, registration started immediately we came into hall of residence(don't rush, don't queue, in some hours or a day after you ain't gonna see any queue, u wud just walk in and do your biometrics wit no stress just like me), the soldiers are gonna start with their initial gragra, don't fall into their trap during week 1, frog jump wud b ya best frd,,,, week 1 is usually stressful,, u wake up so early for morning devotion, after dat! Its gonna b parade, join red cross if you wanna avoid most of dis stressful stuff,, or carry a medical cert claiming u are sick... Be prepared to hear d fire alarm by midnight(dis cud happen any day,, u must come out side wen u hear dis sound)

WEEK 2: By this time you are already a corper, you shud be able to recite the NYSC and STATE anthem (those in Anambra wud understand wen I say may the spirit of Anambra be wit u), boring lectures starts, Saed lectures also,,, book of life queue neva seems to go dry, inter platoons competition,, please represent ur platoon well ooooo


WEEK 3: Anambra camp life is extremely boring, but week 3 is da best, the soldiers bcomes more frdly, Allawee is gonna arrive , transport and bicycle alawance arrives, mammy market starts booming,, beware of Igbo people ooooo, you are gonna spend all ya money this week,, wen dey start selling sexy drinks, sexy meat pie e.t.c,,, take ya sexy photos here,,,, every tin in this camp is sexy,,, and before I forget,, we got a club in mammy "Las vergas",, this is da place were u are gonna fine da yahoo boys wasting Money.
Camp fire night is fun,, carnival was pretty fun too........,
Remember don't spend ya cash for those hungry girls,,, they are always gonna tell you dey are hungry,,,, I repeat don't spend nothing for them,,, you are gonna see decient and reasonable girls(this ones are neva gonna tel u they are hungry except u offer to take dem out)......, you are also gonna start missing camp this week even wit da tension of getting posted to a good or bad LGA......

After snake bit a girl in d female hostel. The nysc state co-ordinator is here telling us dat the camp would be fenced very soon to prevent such incidents again, as if it is d first time a snake has been found in d hostel. Last week thursday , a snake was found in d hostel opposite mine. All d boys picked up stones and killed d snake dat day and there has been several sightings of snakes in dis camp and when we arrived they told us dat d camp was fumigated...

The soldiers in Nonwa Gbam-Tai Orientation camp here in Rivers state are so annoying. Today just when I was about buying a Venza in my dream, they came and chased all of us out of the room thereby disrupting my sweet dream.

By the way, the SAED programme started here today. I can categorically tell you all that it is one of the most boring lectures I have ever attended in my entire life, you all need to see the way yours faithfully was battling with sleep today in the hall . I haven't had enough sleep for the past a week now since I arrived in this camp , all thanks to these merciless soldiers. I didn't know NYSC camp was like this, else I for no come I swear, lol.

Anyway, As the time goes I'll share my experience with you guys who are yet to be deployed for service.

You guys should also come in and share your experience oo. Where my men them?

I'm a 2017 batch A stream 1 corper currently at NYSC orientation camp Asaya, Kogi State. Yesterday d 27th of may, after lights out a girl was bitten by a snake inside her hostel. She was immediately rushed to d camp clinic and later rushed to d general hospital at kabba, kogi state. According to an eye witness, immediately after lights out d girl went to ease herself and she was about to enta d hostel, d snake was at d door inside d hostel and dat was hw d snake bit her.

The annoying part is dat When we arrived at d orientation camp, we were told dat d camp has been fumigated but dis is not d first time a snake has been found in a hostel. On Thursday d 25th, a snake (cobra) was found inside one of d boys hostel. The boys all ran out picked up stones and stoned d snake to death.
