Enlil as ruler of earth did nothing different he established himself as the one true God as Ra did, ordered destructions of the temples of the other Gods. As it has being like this till this day.

That was exactly how monotheism started. Ra was latered exiled by the pantheon of Gods and made to live far from humans.

Other generations before christ knew there were many Gods and worship whoever they like only these generations that didn't know.

Even Jesus attended the school of Thoth in Egypt to learn the egyptian mysteries and how to transmit energy through his body so he could heal.
