Like any type of investment, the trick is to buy low and sell high. So please feel free to go ahead now that the market is low.
Few things though
1) Dont be in a rush - The market is very volatile and in cycles.. the patient person will win
2) Read up as much as possible. Dont rely on anybody's research. learn stuff for yourself
3) Only put money you can lose cause like every investment there is a risk of loss. Hence point 1 will make sure that you win eventually
