Their job is to question you and scrutinize your answers while recording your responses. It's why some people report them typing as you are responding. I think all your documents and your responses in the interview is then documented for what will be the ultimate decision making by whoever is reviewing them.

The test was relatively simple, I guess that's why they didn't attach the result so as to solidify their claims. I had already applied to countless jobs before that time. Also I was already familiar with the basics of the Language because of Duolingo, I was already on 14 in Duolingo.

Oh sorry. I guess the issue may have been how it was documented or how you explained it to your interviewer seeing as you didnt go with any of those documents.

Just read your post about your interview, maybe she found you unconvincing in many regards. Depending on how strong you feel, you may want to appeal the decision

Had my appointment today. The interview itself was mostly what you'd expect: my qualifications, how I got the job, and contract specific details (salary, hours, start date, where I'll be working, etc).

But to my surprise, I was given a written test. That threw me, because I haven't come across a single Blue Card applicant who mentioned being tested. Everyone describes a short interview.
I studied Computer Science, I've been working as a developer since, and the role I'm going for is in the same field. Tho some questions weren't the things I actually touch day to day but I answered what I could.

Has anyone here experienced this? Interested to hear from anyone tested, whether on the Blue Card route or not.

In my opinion, I think it's a cumulative. The moment there's a doubt, any other comma that creates another doubt ultimately leads to a rejection.

The first room for doubt in what I read was the lack of Job search efforts - Remember, this is a job seeker visa afterall which should be the main priority, so this needed to have been shown, detailed and documented or the lackof justified in the motivation document or at the interview.

The second thing against him was the no work experience (or the lack of justification in whatever work experience was chosen), again discrediting the job seeking thing. Maybe the weak academic result is them saying those results dont have a competitive chance in their labour maket. But I would also like to know how he did in the test too. Then the lack of language prep is just the final blow.

My actual preference is for Aikou to win but I'm not immune to see the obvious staring at me. I dont know why people dont like to accept reality. All these your analysis only works for rational voters which we already know a large chunk of BBnaija voters arent.

At least make it hard for those who want to stan winners. Anybody who does too much early days should be gambited. I liked how this last week played out where at least the winner wasnt and still isnt predictable, not for actors who have done all the PR work and acting drama for us and then feel entitled.

Infact big brother should refine the gambit thing in such a way that he retains the right whether or not to ungambit them during the season depending on how the game plays out. Nobody or fan should feel entitled to the win. It's still a game at the end of the day
