I graduated from the same department in 2006. And, he was one of the notable lecturers at the time. Then, he had attained a doctorate position. I think he probably went on a study leave abroad or Sabbatical before you got admitted to OAU. If you had only two Professors during your time that means you have missed a lot.

Definitely you have missed these notable lecturers: Professors Makinde, Dipo Fashina, Moses Oke, Jare Oladosu, Victor Alumona, Williams Idowu, Anthony Osaghare, Odebunmi, Omotosho, and so on

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen!

I know fashina, Oladosu was my project supervisor, victor alumona was very good with Greek philosophy (he is also late now), I saw jingo once, I was a good friend of Dr. Idowu. (He is also late now).

May the souls of the departed rest in peace.

He taught me Phl 101 and Phl 104 in 2019 at Amphitheater then.

He seemed to be the HOD then because you’ll encounter a mini office of some non-teaching staffs before you reach his spacious office.

Philosophy Oau? I graduated from that very department of philosophy and I honestly don’t know who this man is. As at 2018/2019 (when I graduated), we had only two professors. Professors Salami and Fasiku. I know all our lecturers by name and face.

Modified! I have seen his picture!! I knew his as Dr. famakinwa and not professor olaonipekun. He probably became a professor after I left. He was a good man!!! Very cheerful person. May he rest in peace.

Please I need experts opinions on the choice of car to buy between a 2010 V4 Toyota Camry and 2010 V4 Honda Accord.
I want something with good fuel economy, low maintenance cost and reliability.
I don't intend to resell it all after usage for while. So I am not considering resale value in making my choice.

Reliability: Both sedans are quite reliable. The Camry has an edge tho as it can tolerate more abuse.

Fuel economy :The 2.4 liter in both cars have relatively good fuel economy. I would recommend a corrola,matrix, Peugeot 307, etc if fuel economy is a top priority.

Resale value: The Camry certainly wins in the resale value contest.

As long as you can do preventive maintenance you should be fine. This year I also intend to buy the 2009-11 BMW E90 (328i) but with a manual transmission.

I heard manual transmissions are more reliable. I was initially looking towards a manual e46 tho..

The parts of that BMW E90 is freaking cheap….
The engine or top gasket can never burn… I kid you not.

I have used mine for 5years and I can tell you it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

The fuel economy is above average. It comes with a 3.0L straight 6 inline cylinders….

It’s indeed a sheer driving pleasure…

Chief …..The first bmw I drove was the e90. I can attest to the pleasure of driving that ride. I’m a car person and I love bmw. The thing is, I have never even owned a car. Would you advise the e90 for a first timer and how do you maintain your own….the car has a reputation for unreliability…

They are quite similar/ identical vehicles, you wouldn’t go wrong with any of them, quite reliable if they’ve been previously maintained by whoever used them.
A bad note about both vehicles is they are prone to theft or being broken into.
Another note is they are older vehicles so must of them have a higher mileage, now that isn’t bad but there might be one or two things you might need to do to put in shape

Cars were made for different individuals with different needs. If fuel economy is top of your priority, kindly stick with matrix and corrola counterparts. To maintain and fuel a Mercedes is not equivalent to Japanese counterparts.

I drove a 2005 c230k once, I swore that day that, I would buy it. I have driven 2012+ Toyota and Honda cars, but, the Mercedes experience still stood out!!!

I know many people might not notice, but, the image quality is appalling. It looks like the photographer overexposed the shots and then attempted to reduce it by dragging down the curves slider on photoshop. That is why the colors look blackish. The photographer in me is not happy. huh

Very low quality work from the presidential media team.

Very good car, I would recommend it to a first timer. Just pay attention to the warnings on the dash and no short cuts to fixes, use quality oils and don't let any rewire cut wires and use a wire in place of a fuse, you will enjoy the car.

No issues with that car. Just get a foreign used one. Another thing, you will have to increase the engine fan speed by 0.5 or 0.7 because of the engine heat on the AC compressor, besides this, it is a fantastic Supercharged straight inline-4 1.8L beast on the road and can outlast a few other brands in its range.

They don't regard this as benz. It's a 4 plugs with the muffler facing driver side.just one muffler. This is no benz and attempt to race with it ,will lead to rod break and engine damage
